Did you find that the steel tongue was a little rough? Mine had traces of copper on it after use, until I polished it up a bit, now it’s fine.

Adds new meaning to fire power.
Maybe it is too much dishwashing.
Nah, never have had great nails.
Yes’m
Just checked my back-up mag and the only mark on a round was #10 of 10, a slight scratch. Not enough to shed any scratched brass into the mag that I noticed.
Felt the edge of the tongue and it didn’t feel sharp. Maybe you got a bad one.
If it is a new mag, I read they can be stiff and need “breaking in”. I never thought I’d get the 10th round in until I bought one. Good purchase...
I love my UpLula - the members of XDTalk.com were pretty much unanimous in their belief that it was the best magazine loader out there.
It was expensive, but completely worth it!
Some people insist on buying the gun they are eventually wind up buying anyway. 9MM is an excellent caliber for women and the semi’s have a better trigger.
Terrell IDPA next Saturday.
Sorry, not buying it. I suspect that Tom might be engaging in a bit of salesmanship - although to be fair I don't recall hearing him mention any particular brand of autopistol to callers.
I think it's just wrong. Overall Tom's show is great, I just disagree, strongly, with his recommendation of the 9mm auto pretty much to the exclusion of any alternative, especially when a caller asks for an alternative.
Not worth me hijacking a thread over, though. :)
I have one on order. I’m a member of XDTalk.com, and the owner of Crossbreed is the owner/operator of that site.
The general consensus over there is either Crossbreed or Kholster as far as comfortable IWB goes. Yes, the owner is the operator of the site, but there’s no benefit to spending hard-earned money just to suck up to him - I think the advocates are legit. If you go on YouTube, there are many videos demonstrating the concealability of the ST.
Hey Scott, thanks for your reply. I occasionally look around on XD Talk since I have an XD 40. I also have ordered a Super Tuck after watching some videos and seeing how easy the draw and return is. The funny thing is, this will be the 3rd holster I’ve bought for the XD. I hope to get it right one day. I also did not know the Crossbreed guy was also the XD Talk guy. I like his message about the Cross. Seems like a really good guy. Thanks again!!
If you haven’t ordered it yet, it’s about a 3-4 week wait due to heavy demand (they personally make 1500 per month). The local gun shop around here always has one or two for the XD 40, so you might want to order through them so you get it more quickly. If you want, I can PM you the details.
Never mind, I just saw this: “I also have ordered...” Sorry!
Wow, if they are doing 1500 units per month, there must be some very happy customers out there. Maybe, just maybe, I finally got it right. Thanks again for your input, it was very helpful.
Well, a lot of gun owners have the story of the drawer full of holsters they never use. I’ve been pretty fortunate - I had a Bersa that I bought an IWB that I hated before settling on a pocket holster (the Bersa has been given to Dad), and I’m pocket carrying my new gun now until the CBST comes in.
I just got my CBST today, and it is everything I wanted it to be!
Hey Scott, that’s great!! I just ordered a belt from them with the velcro back. I should have ordered it along with the CBST, but I had a brain loss.
Hey, how long did it take for it to come in? And was it shipped UPS or some other way?
Thanks for the update!!
It took three weeks pretty much on the nose to get it via USPS. I just need to lose some weight so that I can get my dress pants buttoned! My cargo pants are fine...
