..old couric tactic...ask a question in such away as to make a statement, then be prepared to cut off guest because of time restraints. Actually the best answer Col West could have given is "Hell no I'm not aligning myself with racist, why do you think I'm running as a Republican"

Good point, but I think West’s answer was the best one. The anchor tried to frame the argument alleging the racism, and West didn’t take the bait instead pointing out exactly what us “Tea Partiers” REALLY stand for!
