L.A. Times Declines to Endorse Sen. Boxer in California Primary
The editors at the biggest newspaper on the West Coast, who were expected to endorse Sen. Barbara Boxer in her primary campaign against token opposition, have decided to remain neutral, saying the California Democrat doesn't display enough intellectual firepower.
The editors at the biggest newspaper on the West Coast, who were expected to endorse Sen. Barbara Boxer in her primary campaign against token opposition, have decided to remain neutral, saying the California Democrat doesn't display enough intellectual firepower.
The Los Angeles Times on Friday declined to offer endorsements in all Democratic and Republican primaries for governor and Senate, saying the races have been undermined by politics and money.
But the newspaper's decision to sit on the sidelines for the Boxer race could prove to be the most damaging of all, given the newspaper's criticism of the three-term senator.

It would be entertaining to see them compete in a spelling bee or on Jeopardy, n'est ce pas? Don't look for either one of them in the library.
One might keep in mind that Maxine is a Congressperson. Ms Boxer is a Senator (who worked very hard for the title, mind you). Ms. Boxer can claim sole Senate ownership to having the lowest observable intellectual facility, to appearing to be most restricted to things superficial, and sadly to having the inability to employ any cognitive depth to grasp or explain complex issues.
One might also keep in mind that this LAT neutrality applies to the PRIMARY. It's a safe bet that the LAT (if still in business) will endorse Ms. Boxer in November; and will gladly eat the intellectual firepower remark.
.
Sheriff Joe should put them & the view on TV & force them to watch that. Best deterrent I can imagine.
dumber than a box of rocks comes to mind,
How you could put Joy Behar in the same category and Oprah and Pelosi is mind boggling. Like Oprah or not, she is an American success story and should be respected for what she has accomplished. Joy Behar was a second rate comic who happened to to be in the right place at the right time. The problem with Behar is she believes she’s intelligent. And she’s just not. Apples and oranges.
Pretty shocking, them endorsing the Republican of the idiot. Says something of just how stupid the hag is...........
She certainly is as stupid now as when she was elected.
I guess before she became vulnerable her stupidity wasn’t a problem, because they’ve endorsed her before.
Now we understand why she got all upset when the military called her “ma’am” instead of “Senator”. Really Stupid people who attain high position are usually very touchy about just how moronic they are.
Maybe even lunch out of the house?
I think it speaks volumes when even this Left wing ragsheet call Boxer the dumbkopf that she is.
Boxer has never exhibited any intelligence.
She has been in Congress for HOW long?
Sure seems like some of California is starting to wake up.
Isn’t there a marriage connection between Boxer & Clinton??
So when Babs gets by her primary opponents she will
win the LASlimes “lesser of two evils” endorsement.
Ho-hummm.
“Didnt Boxers daughter marry one of hitlerys reprobate brothers.”
Yeah, but they divorced......
She could display more intellectual firepower only if she was another person.
Ah . . . the kiss of death!
And he got custody of the child, IIRC.
Sheesh. Dealing with the bubbas is not a great idea.
Maybe what they really wanted to say is that she's become demented in her old age.
Good point ya bring up Beleg,
Why do not some of these rags that produce unAmerican, anti Christian, hate the white man papers like the St. Pete Times, L.A. Times, Miami Herald, etc. produce a more balanced or even conservative oriented rag that folks may buy and actually read? And make a dime?
MrB,
Some of your Kansas corn is smarter than Maxine Waters.
And all of your Kansas pigs are smatter then she.
Simply put, F U Boxer.
You know, Rush jokingly mentioned that people were suggesting he should buy Newsweek. He declined, implying he’d have to step in as editor-in-chief and he already has several full-time jobs (I agree, but still...). We have other great conservatives who are running paper-based outlets that really don’t need direct steering any more, like Bob Tyrell. Wouldn’t it be a hoot for one of them to have financing arranged through our sources and take over a major city newspaper as editor, reorienting the paper at least to the center?
I can dream, can’t I?
