L.A. Times Declines to Endorse Sen. Boxer in California Primary

The editors at the biggest newspaper on the West Coast, who were expected to endorse Sen. Barbara Boxer in her primary campaign against token opposition, have decided to remain neutral, saying the California Democrat doesn't display enough intellectual firepower.

The editors at the biggest newspaper on the West Coast, who were expected to endorse Sen. Barbara Boxer in her primary campaign against token opposition, have decided to remain neutral, saying the California Democrat doesn't display enough intellectual firepower.

The Los Angeles Times on Friday declined to offer endorsements in all Democratic and Republican primaries for governor and Senate, saying the races have been undermined by politics and money.

But the newspaper's decision to sit on the sidelines for the Boxer race could prove to be the most damaging of all, given the newspaper's criticism of the three-term senator.

Someone needs to keep this in mind and quote it often just before the general election. Boxer is intellectually deficient, and the voters need to be reminded when it's a choice between a qualified patriot and a slow-witted socialist.

It’s funny -
the other day she was bragging of her love for the Constitution,
and said she has the pre-amble memorized.

My 5 yr old has the pre-amble memorized, babs.
Granted, she sings it, but I bet babs is singing it in her head, too.

*snort* They are abandoning the ship in drives. It must be really bad when one of the most liberal papers in the country refuses to endorse a democrat.Enjoy retirement Ma’am!

LOL, Boxer is the very picture of "stupid". The LA Times here is simply trying to elevate itself by disassociating itself from her. Believe me, they want this simpleton re-elected because she's the perfect dupe of the socialist agenda no matter how stupid she is.

The LA Times will endorse her in the general.
Bookmark, and take that to the bank.

It’s time to take the politics out of politics, according to the braniacs at the LA Times.

She has been through 3 previous Senate campaigns, spread over 18 years, and the L.A. Times is just now noticing!?

This does not say much for the perceptiveness of the L.A. Times.

i.e. We already know who's gonna win, so why f'n bother? We're only mentioning it because we have some blank space on the front page to fill up.

Elections have been undermined by politics? Is the whole point of an election, a political one? Are they back on the crack over at the LA Times?

Like the $800,000,000 that Obama took in ???

Much of it illegal, with all the donation filters deliberately turned off ????

Are they referring to that ????????????

And how it barely got mentioned and NEVER got investigated???

That rotten money in politics ... ???
