Either one of those options works for me...whatever India chooses is ok with me...it won’t bring the dead people back and that’s the sad part of the situation.

If Kasab gets "Death" today, the appeal automatically goes to the Bombay High Court.

However, the evidence is so clear, I can not see them overturning such a sentence. But you never know. However, I have heard that India--the whole country (except perhaps Islamics in their midsts) it seems, is still HOT, FIERY MAD over this terrorist incident 1-1/2 years ago, they are not into counseling sessions and prayer circles and touchy/feely candle ceremonies and calling it a "tragedy". Most people want outright revenge. Even a little 11 year old Hindi girl who has hit by Kasab's bullets says she wants him hanged on November 26th on the anniversary of the attack to prove the point that the terrorists lost.

Last person executed in India was in 2004 for rape and murder of a girl. It seems about 50 are on "death row" at present.
