Uh, shoot the guy with the fat gut holding and throwing the chair ...
The line I’m looking at is vertical - someone else suggested the anomalies are due to the see thru riot shields. Probably right. You know, it’s not like the AP (and other MSM) haven’t ever passed off a photoshop job as an original photo. I don’t trust anything much that they produce any more. While I admit I’ve never looked at a photo of an exploded molotov cocktail before, I think the fire in some of them looks enhanced at the least. If a bunch of troops, maybe UN, show up with some heavy fire power and start killing a bunch of people there, those photos with the riot police on fire would go a long way toward justifying such a response. I can’t help being skeptical. There are just too many people with bad agendas in the press and politics.
They are reporting 1 in 3 Greeks are government employees.
In Canada, gov. workers are over 40%. Don’t know what the US is now but you can bet Obama has grown it while private sector contracted.
They are reporting 1 in 3 Greeks are government employees.
And they’re rioting because their government lottery style benefits and retirement pensions are being slashed?
"OPA!"
You have to see the movie — the trailer doesn’t do it justice.
There are a lot of pieces that are just over the top silly. But the premise is great: Survival rewards fecundity and the trend is that smart and learned people are having few, if any, kids, while the dumb are breeding like rabbits (remember these are trends, not statements that people with a lot of kids are dumb nor that people with few or no kids are intelligent).
Project this trend across 500 years and you end up with a pretty dumb populace. When an average guy from 2005 (or so) wakes up after cryostatsis, he is the smartest man on the planet.
You have to have a little patience with some parts, but afterward you will probably find it is one of those movies that is deeper than what you saw, funny on a deeper level, and a perfect analogy for places like, say, Greece.
You don’t have Netflix?
;)
(You’ll be glad — but remember to be patient.)
Why is netflix so good? i don't see prices at their site.
I have been using it for years — you get he DVD, hang onto it as long as you like, then send it back at your leisure. The price determines how many you hang onto at any given moment.
And more and more of the movies are available for online streaming, and those are unlimited.
Netflix has about 95% of all the films and TV Series I have been interested in. Some of the old Silent Movies are just not available, but in general it is all there.
My wife was looking for Mission impossible I couldn't find it on the net. I notice netflix has it.
Glenn showed this book on his show the other day. And this is America's future if we continue down BO's path of socialization of America that will bankrupt us with his womb to tomb health care and his unionizing of America's industries that is in the bill. When we can't pay the unions pension funds because we tapped out all our financial resources the SEIU thugs will be rioting here in America the same way the unions are rioting in Greece.
We also been watching these no added cost streaming videos and movies on Netflix we are so impressed with this company we are going to buy some stock tomorrow in the company.
Although their list of streaming videos isnt complete if you look you can find streaming movies that is not in their list.
