Gov. Palin attended the Time 100 Most Influential People Gala. She gave a toast to our troops. Here is a link to an interesting photo of Gov. Palin kidding with Andy Samburg of Saturday Night Live while an amused liberal, Joe Klein looks on. Interesting, in that Klein recently said that Palin was bordering on sedition. I guess it's OK to bask in the radiance of the seditious one just for the cameras.

Yeah. But isn’t Palin so relaxed, friendly and graceful despite knowing these people have trashed her, eg, Betty White.

That was a scripted bit and I doubt Betty White had any intention other than getting a laugh. The writers had their intentions though.
Seems like an elitist gathering....disapointed she would think it’s worthy of her attendance. Hope she’s not taking to this fame too much.
Letterman’s stuff is scripted too. If you look at the date - it’s Oct 2008 - it certainly was intended as more than just humour by either the writers or Betty White.
Yes, Piper has certainly seen a few things in her young life, hasn’t she?
