(CBS) On a dusty block in Phoenix, 15 years of the Quintana familys possessions are for sale.
Manuela Quintana said that they decided to leave when the Arizona governor signed the new immigration law.
For years, their family thrived with jobs in restaurants and construction, reports CBS News correspondent Kelly Cobiella. Their 10 children were born here and are U.S. citizens. Both she and her husband are undocumented, and currently unemployed.
She said that her biggest fear is being put in jail and having her children taken away from her. Just the thought of moving scares their 12-year-old daughter Graciela.
I think its going to be my worst day, Graciela said.
Two years ago, this park was filled with families every weekend. Arizona was home to more than half a million illegal immigrants. Since then, at least 100,000 have left.
Kyle Kester is the Quintanas landlord hes lost seven tenants in the past week.
I would say on this block alone we have 20 vacancies at least, Kester said. Its not just illegal immigrants who are affected by this. I was born in the U.S. and its hurting me now.
Gracielas best friend fled to California with her family Saturday. She didnt get to say good-bye.

God Bless America!!
God Bless America!!
BTT
That would be good because the electoral votes those states represent are a foregone conclusion for the Dems. Having the illegals (assuming amnesty isn’t voted in prior to the election) vote in the very blue states wastes their Dem votes. Now if a few of the states that could go blue or red would pass a law like Arizona’s, that might ensure the state being red. Could be a big help for Nov. 2010 as well. (Come on Florida, Ohio, Colorado...)
>THEY ARE ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS!<
.
That’s it!! That is the best description I ever read.
“....that if they are ever found in the U.S. again, they will be returned to Mexico within 24 hours...”
.
After spending a year at hard labor to pay for expenses of catching them and as a warning for other immigration lawbreakers.
Of course they were getting the freebies for their kids.
You don’t even leave the hospital, and the welfare people are there to sign them up.
It’s hard to imagine 10 kids! (and the money it costs to raise them).

You can bet they’ll be working overtime in those states.
More fraud then ever. They don’t miss a trick.
You betcha.
They don’t bother to learn and speak English because all the people employed at the welfare offices speak Spanish.
**Some 100,000 Mexicans already in Arizons have left for California and Colorado seeking out the sanctuary cities.**
And they will get it here! Our wonderful Mexican Mayor here in LA, gets up on his podium, and shouts, “We Welcome You” to
the incoming hordes. May 1st had him shouting with all the marchers at their Amnesty rally.
This city is running out of every possible method to tax, tax, and tax everything to get every last dollar out of our American population to provide illegals with all their freebies that they know are entitled to.
LOL!
Totally reminds me of a clueless movie star who, a few years ago, stated incredulously, I can't understand how Dubya could have won that election...
nobody I know voted for him!
Funny but unimpressive.
"California" is a large dog with an even larger tail which determines its direction. So, in that sense, "California" does hate that law. Ever seen the "boot on the throat" posture the big cities have on California voters through gerrymandering??
The result is that, populationwise, CaliforniaNs love the law, but "California" the political unit, "officially" hates it.
Too complicated for ya, skippy?
I sure hope that you're right!
100,000 jobs by illegals, serving other illegals and totally fueled by money stolen from the taxpayers who actually pay income taxes --- should disappear forever.
Who needs that?
I don't.
You may want to rethink that statement!
I didn't make that statement and don't even understand it.
hell, no ... let them move to San Francisco
