As a resident of the Peoples Republic of Maryland ... I applaude the move, but there is no way this will pass here. But just the threat of this happening in Maryland will thin the neighborhood I live in ... lol.

I escaped from MD 13 years ago, hopefully we will pass it in VA.

But it dose make the dems get on record. When an issue is running 60/40 favorable nation wide and 70/30 favorable in "Swing" states you need to make the other side go on recorded as being firmly and fanatically on the 30 side. Make the dems vote on the bill so that when the run for higher office later it can be thrown back in their faces. Remember Obama's "Present" votes here in Illinois. Because the issue wasn't pushed he could get away with not taking an official position on campaign killing issues. Make the dems go on record even if you lose. You never know which junior state rep will be the next socialist presidential candidate.

It has about as much chance of passing as a bill defunding CASA. After 10 years in MD, I’m sure glad we moved to VA a couple of years ago.
