Fox has too many commercials these days, it drives me nuts... 30 seconds of news followed by 5 minutes of ads. Victims of their own success I guess.
You just describe a typical Rush broadcast.
I bet there are 40 mins of commercials per hour during Rush
Drives me nuts too.
So we just came off Lenten season this year no tv other than Catholic TV (no commercials blaring).
Now the tv ads come on and they are so dang loud you have to keep the clicker handy not to go nuts and be able to speak with others in the room at a normal tone.
Also everytime we tune in to (back to back on our cable) CNN/Fox/NWCN every one of them are on commercial breaks....long breaks.
Then if we catch an actual show/news it is so chatted up it takes forever to get to the meat of the subject.
And the morning news show people...( I share living space so I cant turn it off) HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY (wired out on java) and talking about each others lives.
Where the HECK is the News...I dont care about the news anchors private lives.
I really dont like phoney bologni lame tv anymore.
Movies if you can find one are ok.
But coming from 43 days of peace/prayer/Catholic life via tv/radio and back to the secular world is horrible.
Thank God for FR reading and late night after KV is asleep EWTN tv or radio when I am in the other room doing chores. PEACE.
Big Bump to that!
