The headline is all that's up at the present time.

Wonderful point, but can the people of FL understand the difference?
Mouton, you are right, no runoff in the general election. I apologize for my post based on faulty info.
That makes me feel a little better. I think Rubio will come out ahead of Crist, but the big question is whether Crist will get enough R votes to beat Rubio. I don't think Tea Partiers will go for Crist unless some horrible Rubio scandal materializes.
“Doesnt matter too much. Who really cares about Rubio anymore? Hes targeting the moderates, since hes not really a true conservative.
Rubio = Moderate
Christ = Rino”
Second, Marco Rubio is a solid conservative. If you have one widdle issue about which Marco doesn’t say exactly what you want him to say (even if his position is right on the money) and you don’t want to support him, go ahead and let Crist or Meek win and see if you like a Senator with a 5% ACU score better than one with a 99% ACU score, but don’t lie by calling Rubio a “moderate.” If Marco Rubio is a “moderate,” then so is Jim DeMint.
There is no general election runoff in FL, only in GA.
good for you but he’s proving not to be a conservative at all
have you even called him like I said ?
I did this morning and I was like you blind and feeling good until this bill come up and now drilling.
I might still vote for him if he actually takes a stance.
are you actually in Florida or are you out of state?
“Rubio could not take stand and actually said he is troubled by AZ bill
when I called him and others have his staff has been saying that they have a problem with the bill because they think police can stop anyone when ever they want so why not give them a call then and let them know that the bill does not let the cops do this”
Thanks, I apologized for my inaccuracy in #83.
“I believe Florida is a plurality of the votes, not majority...”
Yes, in theory, Crist or Meek could win with 34%, but Rubio will get over 40% (probably over 45%) and will win handily.
We might see the Lieberman result when Republicans voted for him. Democrats might vote for him rather than Meeks.
I agree and when I told them wha the law actually says they kept refering back to the police stopping people
I think that it is why we need as many as possible to call his office and set their staff right as of right now they still think that the police can profile .
I’m an immigrant I told them and when you have a green card the federal law states I have to carry it everywhere I go so the media does not know this law either and if bozo has a problem with that then he needs to change federal law not AZ’s bill
“Charlie Crist is not running to serve the people, he is running to serve himself!”
Everything he does is for himself. Over the last several years as he’s worked his way up its been very obvious. Get elected to a position and immediately work on the next higher one. Detestable
The problem here is regardless of whether the Tea Party lines up behind Rubio, Meeks could slip in with Rubio finishing second as some of the GOP here alas are RINO’s. Furthermore, Crist will use the election to run against Rubio mostly and he has a lot of out of state RINO money behind him. Maybe I am paranoid about this but it could end up being a real disaster for Florida and for the Country should Meeks or Crist win.
The best thing that could happen would be if Crist was able to pull enough of the public sector votes i.e. teachers away from the dems as he just vetoed a teaching reform bill that was opposed by their union right down the line. This election will go to the wire with whomever catches the final tail wind ending up on top.
What wrong with Rubio’s statement? Who else is there to vote for?
Do you think that by continuing to lie about Marco Rubio’s stance on offshore oil drilling you will convince anyone that Rubio isn’t a conservative. Rubio has been on the record for YEARS that we should DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW.
It was CHARLIE CRIST who said yesterday that we should reconsider the wisdom of offshore oil drilling because of some oil spill. http://www.postonpolitics.com/2010/04/crist-says-oil-spill-should-give-drilling-proponents-pause/ You do know that Charlie Crist and Marco Rubio are different people, right?
Maybe you shouldn’t be posting in a public forum until you can tell Crist from Rubio. Here’s a clue for you: Crist is the one whose issue positions are exactly like the ones that you falsely claim that Marco Rubio has. Crist is also the one with orange skin. And a beard . . . .
“Good? Remember what happened in NY-23?”
We have more time and more money in this one. Chris Christie and Scott Brown had some 3rd party gnats that turned out to be nothing. Being an 0bama toadie with the stimulus and his most recent chameleon stunt won’t play well this year.
The voters will crucify Crist for this contemptible behavior.
Well this race just got interesting more than it was already. First Rubio turns out not to be what he claimed...a conservative. He is against Arizona Immigration Law and now Christ is heading towards an Independent Run. I think he believes just because Connecticut chose an Independent, Florida will too...Stay tuned for the next interesting scenario.
“I think that it is why we need as many as possible to call his office and set their staff right as of right now they still think that the police can profile.”
I can understand your frustration with people’s ignorance of immigration laws, and you should definitely set people straight about the documentation requirements imposed upon legal immigrants. I hope that, at the very least, the media and the population at large get a free civics lesson from the brouhaha over the very commonsensical AZ law.
So what else is new?
Not!
