Friedman:
Not funny or even clever, and completely tone deaf as to the political tenor underlying the Tea Party Movement.
But, I’m sure he is an “Award Winning Journalist”. probably “wins” one per week.

Tom apparently missed the results of the '06 election.

Ain’t he cutesy? Ain’t he clever? No.
So tired of these idiots and their attempts to ridicule the Tea Partiers. Yes, try to make them look ridiculous and a joke. But, who are you talking to, dude? These are ‘the people’ in the Tea Party. Who are you winking at?

although one does wonder where they were in the Bush years. Why have so few commentators and journalists noticed that quite a few patriotic Americans stayed home in 2006 and 2008 or decided (very wrongly) that there was no difference between the two parties? We objected to Bush's irresponsible and wasteful spending, and we're livid now that Obama has tripled (or more) the already massive waste that Bush permitted.

although one does wonder where they were in the Bush years. Never mind. Note to Friedman: when repeating "The Big Lie", pick something that's at least a little obscure, possibly difficult to nail down to a specific timeframe, and not easily disprovable.

“confuse and muddle” seems to be the latest favorite move from the Alinsky playbook (like how they knocked the wind out of Sarah Palin’s sails by convincing vast numbers of sheeple that she was actually Tina Fey)

“Where were you during the Bush years?” is the answer we get from all the liberals. They’re even writing in to the local papers calling us hypocrites because there were no tea parties three years ago.

a $10 Patriot Fee on every barrel of imported oil And Friedman's fellow Democrat travelers would promptly leverage each "$10 Patriot Fee" into a $1,000 of new spending.
No Thanks!

Like John Kerry, Tom Friedman married into the family of a successful, productive and rich capitalist. This entitles them to lecture their inferiors from within the high walls of their palaces about the evils of capitalism and how they must learn to do more with less for the good of others.
