No, not exactly both, but if you don’t have a valid drivers’ license and you cannot provide any other ID, you are in trouble. It should have been the same prior to the new immigration law. What good does it do to give someone a traffic ticket if they don’t have a driver’s license? You have no expectation of them paying the fine or showing up in court. Where are they supposed to send the ticket if you don’t have even a valid ID?

It will be the same for any other violation of the law, drunk and disorderly, spousal abuse, shop lifting, car theft. Do the crime and if your illegal, you will be ousted. The only kids that will be arrested will probably be youthful offenders.

Haven’t people heard of Vagrancy laws? You are always supposed to have some sort of ID on your person. According to laws that have been on the books in many places for YEARS already.
