Muslims aren’t stupid (many are engineers for example), and Americans are decent people. We don’t generally realize that there are evil, cold, calculating killers out there. We hear “human rights” and don’t realize it’s enemy propaganda.
As you wrote, Islam is opposed to human rights. The Muslims will play it (human rights) for what it’s worth in the US, but that’s only because it’s a winning strategy for silencing the opposition.
The leftists think America is an evil country that destroys the environment, uses more than it’s fair share, oppresses minorities, and punishes other nations unfairly. We’re a great evil, sexist, racist nation in leftist eyes. This is why leftists generally ally with Muslims who see America as the Great Satan. For some reason, the leftists don’t seem to realize they are playing with fire when they act as Islam apologists.
