Truthfully though, there are a lotta good folk in and around Asheville. Hey I wonder if he and Shuler are golfing and eating ice cream. Best Ice cream shop right across the street from my office, all homemade.

12 Bones is no ordinary BBQ joint. They have an eclectic menu which includes a rotating list of ribs that are coated in unique sauces including blueberry chipolte bbq, sweet tomato bbq, pear ginger bbq, chipotle lime bbq and spicy pineapple habenaro bbq to name a few.

I was out riding my Spyder in Asheville yesterday and almost drove down Sweeten Creek Rd. where one of the 12 Bones BBQ is located, not knowing that the Obamas were there at that exact time. I was going to stop at 12 Bones, but something told me not to go that route.

Hubba Hubba BBQ in Flat Rock is much better IMHO (especially the smoked fish tacos)
