Another point - to convict someone of murder the proof standard is “beyond a reasonable doubt”.

I’m no lawyer but I suspect the standard of proof for proving oneself is an NBC would be considerably lower, i.e. preponderance of the evidence.

I was born in Charleston SC. I have a copy of my BC and both my parents are still alive (and they were there :) )

But we’re not trying a murder case here - we’re looking for reasonable proof that the constitutional criteria are being met.

I am planning on applying for my Social Security soon. I am told that I may need my birth certificate, my SS card, and my marriage license. But if I want to lead the world’s only super power that has the power to make or break the rest of the world, I don’t need any documentation at all. I would think you should show your birth certificate just to show how old you are, if nothing else. I think that part of the Constitution is clear enough. At least 35 years old. How do we know O is over 35?

Obama’s proof of constitutional eligibility or otherwise has not been made public as it should be, and there is in fact more evidence and anecdotal testimony pointing to him being either not a natural born citizen or an outright foreigner than there is otherwise. The latter consists of newspaper announcement clippings of dubious provenance and authenticity, and a forged CIL posted on a leftist friendly website. Those are just plain facts.

That 's nice but it has very little to do with whether or not Barack Hussain Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States which is a Constitutional requirement for the office of president.
