Is it too much to hope that perhaps he will stay there and Air Force 1 comes back without him? What are the extradition laws between the US and Indonesia like - out of curiosity. Will Obama claim political asylum while in Indonesia??? [Yeah, I know... wishful thinking on my part]

Well I do not think this will happen.

But to partially answer your question:

If the US wanted a US citizen for a crime (committed in the US) I think they would allow extradition.

BUT (BIG BUT) If said wanted criminal was NOT a US citizen, BUT an Indonesian citizen (went to school there...) I doubt Obama would be allowed extradition as he is Indonesian...

I'm just tryin’ to answer your question...
