For Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), DWI stands for “driving while illegal.”

It would be interesting to see what McCain's position was when auto insurance companies were mandated to include uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage.

Those are nothing more than the payer of the policy subsidizing those DWI's who are uninsured and underinsured.

Since I and most other drivers MUST show proof of insurance to get a driver's license or annual auto tag, I wonder where all those uninsured and underinsured motorists come from? [That's a rhetorical question. We know where most of them come from.]
