Time’s Klein: Beck, Palin Potentially Committing Sedition against U.S. Government
Newsbusters ^ | April 18, 2010 | Jeff Poor

Liberals are all too often eager to charge conservative personalities of using hyperbole to gain a political advantage, especially when it contradicts their world view - whether it's suggesting the Obama administration is taking the country down the path of socialism, fascism or any other -ism.

However, it could be argued there's a different set of standards for those same people when they want to make strong charges. On NBC's April 18 "The Chris Matthews Show," Time columnist Joe Klein all but accused former GOP vice-presidential nominee and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, along with Fox News host Glenn Beck of sedition.

"I did a little bit of research just before this show - it's on this little napkin here. I looked up the definition of sedition which is conduct or language inciting rebellion against the authority of the state. And a lot of these statements, especially the ones coming from people like Glenn Beck and to a certain extent Sarah Palin, rub right up close to being seditious."

“Sedition” is harder to define than “Ninny.” The def of “ninny” is Joe Klein.

I dont think she should be scared now. But if she runs in 2012 and she is beating Obama in the polls, then I think she should be worried.. I don’t put anything past these people in the White House.

Sedition is when the Liberals (Fascists) are in charge.
Patriotic speech is when they are not.

"TIME is so last decade. Are they still publishing ?

Yo' TIME is up!

Used to read Time cover-to-cover every week. But now they utterly despise anyone who is not leftist. I wouldn't stick it on the bottom of my bird cage.

"The end justifies the means" is an article of faith to "these peoplein the White House".

Let us always remember this.

Another clumsy trial balloon by The Regime to see how much repression they can get away with right now.

To come to think of it, it is “liberal” members of the law profession and our government who are are guilty of sedition. They constantly, knowingly, and deliberately invalidate the Constitution by calling it a “living document”. The ultimate authority in the United States is the Constitution, not the President.

The head of The Regime has gone so far as to announce his intention of “fundamentally transforming” this country. So even by the definition in Joe Klein’s dictionary, this conscious, and deliberate trashing of the Constitution is sedition.

It's always nice to see liberals condemning sedition.

Hey guys, why not bring back the HCUA? That'll show those fascist pigs.

Welcome to the USSA, comrades. Dissent is no longer patriotic.

Now you are “hatriots,” in the words of Slick WIlly.

You are quite explicitly correct.

This is why I carefully avoid talking about “revolution.”

It is our political and legal class who are the revolutionaries.

I’m a counter-revolutionary.

We must put down the insurrection.

inciting rebellion against the authority of the state

This definition sounds like it was written by a Marxist. Tremble before the power and authority of the state, and all that Leftist rot. Sorry, we don't do that in the U.S.

The double standard among liberals is overwhelming at times. When the liberal radicals were expressing their dissent, it was called patriotic by the MSM. It was speaking truth to power. When conservatives exercise their right to dissent, it is call sedition by the MSM.
