We all know how things are scrubbed from the internet, this has been around for almost a year and a half in many new sources along with the story. You have seen it for over a year. Why now, do you suddenly question it which makes it harder to go back and find all of the papers it was in? I can’t count the fingers, how many do you see? I just see a blob of fingers.
I am so annoyed right now because I can’t figure out what your motive is to say this photo is shopped. Why in the world would the Obama people release an photo that they photoshopped that was NOT favorable to him and trust me, this one is NOT. If it was released by his friends in the photo(who he is still friends with) why would they photo shop it. You are wrong on this one potlatch. If you believe that you are right, you can’t base it on a blurry photo that you enlarged. You need to support it with facts as to why Obongo, his friends, and the MSM would want to do it.

Can you count the fingers in that photo? I sure can’t. It just looks odd and blurry to me. I never doubted that photo was real, faults and all because of the MANY sources it came from. I have never seen it disputed as fake by anyone before potlatch did it today. The reason being is that it was in so many reputable news sources along with the story. That photo has been around for a year and a half and NOW he questions it’s authenticity based on an enlargement that he did. Whatever. He needs more proof than that.

The NY Times was the one that first ran the story and photo if I remember correctly.
I don’t know anything about Phil Boerner or his recollections that he relayed to the newspapers.
If you read through this thread you will see others who commented on the number of fingers, it’s been a big topic of conversation before on other threads.
I told you I wasn’t an expert but am going by what I see, what others have said and leave it to each to make their own judgement.
I don’t know how you have missed seeing all the others who have questioned it over time and I have no motive other than seeing what I see and being truthful about what I see.

Where Obama gets his desi-ness from
An old college photo of Obama appeared at the NYTimes today. The photo features the man who taught Obama how to cook desi food among other things:
Sohale Siddiqi (also Hal Siddiqi) was the best friend and roommate of Barack Obama while he attended Columbia University in the early 1980s. He is identified as “Sadik” in Obama’s memoir, Dreams From My Father. Obama describes Saddiqi as “a short, well-built Pakistani” who smoked marijuana and snorted cocaine. Siddiqi was from Karachi, Pakistan and came to America from London on a tourist visa. He overstayed his visa becoming an illegal alien. [1]
Obama first met Siddiqi when he attended Occidental College in Los Angeles. Obama was living with a group of Pakistani students when Siddiqi arrived for a visit. Obama transferred to Columbia University and lived off campus with Siddiqi. Siddiqi was not a student and made his living working in restaurants. Together they lived in a drug-ridden slum apartment on 339 East 94th St. Siddiqi go the apartment by lying, saying he had a well paid job. The apartment was furnished by what they could find in the streets.
Obama and Siddiqi would go out together and enjoy the nightlife of New York City. Siddiqi claims Obama stopped using drugs when he arrived at Columbia. Obama eventually moved out when Siddiqi’s partying began to interfere with his studies. [Link]

That would actually be pretty easy to do. See that frizz around the Paki's head? That would be somewhat difficult to get in there and not look too weird. However for real professionals with good filters and skills, not impossible.
Look at the right side of his jacket at the bottom. That looks unusual to me, almost filled in with a darker shade.
If I had to pick one of the two who don't belong in that photo, I'd pick Hussein. But, like you said, who knows?

Well if you insist it is photoshopped, then why do you assume it was the 10 fingers? Much easier to add 2 fingers and a touch of arm to cover up the 10 fingers. I have never clearly seen 10 fingers and have never been convinced they are holding hands.
The "original" version appeatred in the NYTs with Siddiqi erased (and very clumsily) and the picture cropped on the right side to make it appear that the guy who owned the apartment was standing next to the couch.
Also, there is no reason to believe that the boys on the couch are holding hands...that's just not there.
Now, do I believe the pic is genuine? Yes. Do I believe that it is a picture of two queers in NYC circa 1981? Hell yes.

BINGO!!! If anything, they would try to bury that picture, have it removed, but it was the NYT and by the time they saw it, it had already gone viral. His little Paki friend is still single and works in a theater in Seattle.
