When is the Fed EPA going to fine Iceland for spewing so many fine particulates into the atmosphere. Just how much carbon dioxide IS being released in this continuing eruption. Huh? Huh? Huh!!!!
Maybe Iceland can buy a few billions in Carbon Credits by going deeper into bankruptcy. Can that happen? Can you go deeper into bankruptcy?
I hope the UN’s IPCC is studying the effect of this anthropogenic discharge from Iceland. You just KNOW man caused this eruption somehow.
Getting serious for a moment, how long does this volcano have to spew ash for us to go into a year or two of massive global cooling? When Tambora blew, if was followed by a “year without a summer”. So how long does Eyjafjallajokull have to go to cause that kind of cooling effect?
I can't answer that question. It's the one (Katla) that usually follows this one that causes problems of serious cooling and reduced/lost crops.
