Oh settle down... the victims(or at least the mother) don’t want this seen as being “political” so stop pushing it...

Put me in the corner of those who think this needs to be shouted from the rooftops.

Thank you for posting it. Another excellent article on the brutal attack by The Hayride.

Of course it was partisan. The writer seems to think that “revolutionary anarchists” are not politically aligned. If so, he understands nothing and should be forced to read Bakunin day and night for a month.

The trending towards sharper and sharper political violence was obvious already during the election (The straight-talk express was shot up at least twice). And I seem to remember a long rash of arsons during the last Bush election.

When news of the maiming first surfaced last Monday afternoon, the State-Run Media in Louisiana immediately spun the story as another typical French Quarter drunken brawl and blamed it on the victims.

By midnight Monday, Scott McKay of The Hayride began piecing together the events of what really happened and who all was involved. And he hasn’t stopped since.

Real, systematic, analytical Big-Boy investigative reporting. The kind the State-Run Media tells us all the time they only are qualified to do.

Right here, right now.

I was happy to see them single out HotAir and Malkin for their willingness to downplay the partisan/political angle.

Beyond that I can’t say much more than what I already posted in the comments at The Hayride (and I can only imagine what blahx3 would think of it).

>>the Iron Rail Gang are self-described anarchist revolutionaries

As someone has pointed out in another thread, and is worth pointing out here, “anarchist revolutionaries” practically means “violent socialists”, if you look at what these thugs really stand for politically.

From the article I hardly think it’s necessary to spell this out, but a communist anarchist who makes disparaging remarks based on socioeconomic circumstances about someone he suspects to be a conservative Republican before descending upon said Republican and beating him or her savagely is doing so from a political motive. Economics + communism = politics. It’s not brain surgery. Particularly given that the anarchists’ propaganda both before and after the event was shot through with hateful references to Gov. Bobby Jindal’s “rich friends” and so on

The link in post 11 really shows the anarchists’ “eat the rich” mindset, with many pics of their signage. Not to mention pics of their masked thugs.

The group says they are aligned with Obama on health care. They say Republicans don't have the right to meet.

Obama said “If they bring a knife we bring a gun”. He has called for violence from his fringe group. He and the Dems are inciting violence by saying that the tea party is violent when they know full well, it isn't, since the Dem leaders chose to walk through the tea party crowd.

This latest incident needs to be investigated as political. The government chose not to go after the SEIU members who beat up the black guy at one of the rallies. They would only go charge them with a misdemeanor even though the man had to go to a hospital.

One man lost his finger to one of these nut jobs at a rally.

We should demand action against this violence or there is going to be more and more attacks and intimidation with the tacit approval of Obama and other socialists.

The thing that I personally find most amusing, is that, one day soon, these animals will be quite amazed when they show up for a little wilding on a conservative, and suddenly, they are cut in half with a shotgun, held by an old white guy...

we need to use The Chicago Way!

They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That's* the *Chicago* way!

The only way to defeat the gangsta community organizer's mob from Chicago.....
