With a cloud of ash spreading across northern Europe from an Icelandic volcano, Poland closed its airspace in the north of the country on Thursday until further notice, but a White House spokesman said that Obama was keeping his plans to fly. Well, there is a lot of sulfur in the air...

Just an added note that my laughing at your clever remark does not imply any disrespect about this crash. I have been just devastated. My family and I drove down to DC on Sunday and visited the Polish Embassy to sign the condolence book. I remember the huge outpouring of sympathy in countries around the world after 9/11. There were some flowers and candles on the sidewalk out front, but not nearly as many as I would have hoped for one of our staunch allies. Trust me, in DC you have to import anyone who supports nationalism or conservative values.
