To: Steve Van Doorn

It’s not about profits, it’s about credibility. Fox News is in the cross hairs of all the other MSM and they have to perform to a higher standard which means they cannot afford ANY possible breach of journalistic professionalism, and to have one of their top rated shows, which I reiterate broadcasts not just opinion but news, opens itself to criticism that it caters to a “paying audience” and this is simply unacceptable. It would be journalistic suicide.

Sorry, you are being way too simplistic. As long as all journalist organizations were charge - no problem. You seem to think that FOX should be different why? Maybe because they ARE different and you think that they should be treated the same. Well, they were... Not sure just why you are belly-aching about this at all...

If you really think that FOX should be held to a higher standard, then you are the biased one... They are just another NEWS organization - just happens that they DO broadcast both sides of issues... Good for them!!
