Get ready for … Romney/Palin 2012 ?
Hot Air ^ | APRIL 15, 2010 | ED MORRISSEY

The Boston Herald thinks they’ve found the unity ticket for the GOP in 2012. Apparently, Sarah Palin thinks it sounds “serious,” too. The only question would be the order (via Jules Crittenden):

Conservative superstar Sarah Palin opened the door today to joining forces with Mitt Romney for a 2012 White House run – a hot ticket that has some Republicans licking their chops at the prospect of unseating President Obama.

“Sounds pretty good,” Palin declared at today’s Tea Party Express rally on the Common when asked about pairing up with the former Bay State governor – giving the idea a big thumbs-up as she left the stage after her headline speech.

Earlier tonight, as Palin stopped for cannoli at Mike’s Pastry in the North End, she said she was “serious” about the idea.

“I have a lot of respect for Mitt,” she told the Herald.

Asked who would be on top of the ticket, Palin roared, “Ha! I haven’t even thought that far ahead yet.”

Palin/Romney...Romney/Palin? LOLOLOL Nonsense with a capitol NO.

First off Romney....No Way! Not for me.....any time, for any government office, to include dog catcher...... He hasn’t made the case for himselfin what 2 years of trying? a non starter.....My personal opinion yours may be different....but I hope not...........

Palin or Romney for top spot? Palin is the better choice hands down.....

Sorry I don’t like Romney’s ideas, his track record as Governor, his leadership style, his campaign tactics, his attemps to buy political office, or his hair......

Palin gets much better marks on the above including her hair! A’s instead of F’s......LOLOLOL

The VP spot essentially the “President of the Senate” is best filled by a person with at least some legislative experience...and be a person that exhibits leadership potential.....

Neither Palin nor Romney have legislative experience in their resume.....though I think each could readily adapt, all in all a step down for either.....Nope, Palin to the top slot, Romney to the political trash heap..... JMO....

My vote for VP?......Michele Bachmann...

Sarah/Michele 2012...... The year of the Conservative Woman! Oh yeah!

I doubt she’s enthusiastic about a rerun!

Are you a Palin supporter? Do you trust her to tell you the truth? When she says things, do you believe her, or do you try to make excuses for why she isn't telling you what she really thinks?

When Palin says she is "serious", do you think she's joking?

Ah...no.

Do you even read the posts? Should I type slower, perhaps?

I’ve stated Masscare was a financial disaster, that the basic math shows it beyond any doubt, and that Romney should be admitting it.

I’ve also stated he’s done very well in the private sector turning around corporations that were failing, making them profitable.

Sheesh. No problem here if you don’t like the guy, don’t/won’t support him politically. None what so ever. I could care less.

But saying I ‘ignored’ Mass Care is ridiculous given my comments above.

Any guesses on how many times this BS will be posted?

Are you a Palin supporter? Do you think she would tell you BS that isn't true?

‘He is less qualified than Obama to run an economy.’

btw, this is my nomination for most ridiculous statement of the year, so far.

The problem will that is RomneyCare.. not much different than ObamaCare.. or HillaryCare..

Any hookup with Romney is like a hookup with McQueeq...
The closer to Romney or McQueeq Palin gets is making her irrelevant..

The girl needs to know a RINO is basically a stealth democrat..
and a Blue Dog democrat has been Exposed as a MYTH..

Don’t forget that she said nice things about Ron Paul, too. I’m sure that will upset the Palinistas more (assuming they have already forgotten about it).

Is there a checklist of things that make someone ready for the Presidency that you could point to?.....

Life’s experiences certainly make a contribution, but leadership qualities, and a core set of principals and beliefs are probably the most important aspects to consider for choosing a candidate / President....Sarah has both demonstrated leadership skills and a core set of values....what more could you want? More time for the left to erode/destroy her credibility in the minds of the public serves whose interests? Certaintly not mine......

Former Presidents from both sides have said nothing in their lives fully prepared them for the Duties and Responsibilities of POTUS......So when do you think Sarah will be ready in your mind? After doing what?

Her voice? General George S Patton had a high squeeky voice, but I think both you and I would have been proud to serve in his 3rd Army.....Yep Old Blood and Guts had the voice of a woman! So does Sarah....LOLOLOLOL

The Boston Herald thinks they’ve found the unity ticket for the GOP in 2012.

I think Romney has the kind of money to create a perception of inevitability for his candidacy. With his resources, I'm sure it would be easy to call up one of his buddies at his hometown newspaper with a "story idea".

I noticed that many are former W Worshippers. You can’t reason with them. They think they’re conservatives. I understand this. Every time I watch “House”, I think I ‘m a doctor.

If there was ever a politician who couldn’t be bought, it was Duncan Hunter. Reagan was the same way.
