The Boston Herald thinks theyve found the unity ticket for the GOP in 2012. Apparently, Sarah Palin thinks it sounds serious, too. The only question would be the order (via Jules Crittenden):
Conservative superstar Sarah Palin opened the door today to joining forces with Mitt Romney for a 2012 White House run a hot ticket that has some Republicans licking their chops at the prospect of unseating President Obama.
Sounds pretty good, Palin declared at todays Tea Party Express rally on the Common when asked about pairing up with the former Bay State governor giving the idea a big thumbs-up as she left the stage after her headline speech.
Earlier tonight, as Palin stopped for cannoli at Mikes Pastry in the North End, she said she was serious about the idea.
I have a lot of respect for Mitt, she told the Herald.
Asked who would be on top of the ticket, Palin roared, Ha! I havent even thought that far ahead yet.

Oh heck no! No more rinos! Enough is enough already!
“The term RINO has no meaning any longer especially since people like you use it to denigrate people that do not agree with your reactionary agenda...”
REACTIONARY AGENDA ??????
Soooooo....a Duncan Hunter conservative is now a “reactionary”. Whooda thunk.
By the way, I am 56 years old, and in my lifetime, the only people I have ever heard use the term “reactionary” are left wingers. No exceptions. If you are not one, take a bow...you are making history.
Exactly right!
Once they have worked in the whorehouse on the hill, there is no way to re-domesticate them.
.
“I think an all-female ticket would be a mistake. It’s asking enough of many voters to go for a woman at the top.”
.
I have to agree with that, but its still fun to needle the PDS gang with the Palin/Bachmann jab.
.
“By the way, I am 56 years old, and in my lifetime, the only people I have ever heard use the term reactionary are left wingers.”
.
I’ll have to give you that one! - I’m 65, and can say the same easily. They attacked McCarthy, Macdonald, and McManus with that and time and facts have fully vindicated them.
I sure don’t see Duncan Hunter as any kind of RINO or Reactionary, but a deal cutter he definitely is.
.
Palin/Romney sounds mucho better.....:)
No way for Romney in any fashion.
“Palin supports an amnesty lover and respects a socialist style health care lover. How is she a conservative?”
.
You know better than that. - She is trying to hold the party together for a november assault, and bonding her base with the party management is quite a task. There are loads of “3rd party” fools out there that want to snach defeat from the jaws of victory.
.
“No way for Romney in any fashion.”
.
Its hard to even believe that we’re having this kind of conversation after Obamacare!
.
Massachusetts is close to defaulting on 100 million in General Obligation Bonds, due ENTIRELY to Romneycare. Romney is finished!!
You’re way over the edge!
I refuse to believe that you could be so stupid as to misunderstand Palin’s arrangement with McCain. You have a real crazy agenda there. Someone seems to have turned you, or maybe the real mkjessup died and you have his computer?

The other day a individual freeper suggested Palin-Lieberman 2012, but the whole thread got deleted.

I was illustrating the absurity of your use of the term RINO, by using an equally absurd/polarizing term ..... “Reactionary.” Read my post again... in light of that information.... does it open your eyes as to my objection to casually throwing around terms like RINO? Read my post again....
56 years old? Ya got some growing to do to catch up to me! I hope ya never do, because if ya do....then I’ll be dead! And I ain’t ready to go yet!.....LOLOLOLOL
Reactionary is the political view to the right of Conservative.....not one I agree with...too extreme...to the Dems everyone on the right is a “right wing extremist”....in essence they’re still calling us all “Reactionaries”....you’re right, the left loves that name! It’s use is a tactic called “Positioning”....
A truism in American politics is that the candidate that is seen by the voters as being the closest to the political center is the one that usually wins....the center is always a moving target....and a relative one depending upon the paired candidates.....
Hence the trick for Pols is to define the center.....To a lefty Liberal a Moderate Republican is a wild eyed extremist...a “Reactionary.”
Watch California’s Babs Boxer’s campaign this year, Historicaly she has been a “one note johnny”,... and the above note is the one she always sings....
Last election cycle she aired commercials against Moderate Republican Matt Fong, showing him handing out machine guns on the street....thereby defining him as an extremist, and in fact calling him one in the commercial’s narrative......(Babs is none too intelligent,... but then neither are the voters she targets..... and so far she has won.......sad for Ca and the Nation......
As far as Boxer goes, her Republican oppoenet this year had better grab the inititive and “define” Boxer as extreme lefty, and too ignorant and/or arrogant to continue to be our Senator. “In these times, California deserves better than “Box of Rocks” Boxer!
I agree with you on Hunter, his character, and his viewpoint... a solid Conservative Republican, no reservations at all on that score...Except that the House is hardly a breeding ground for National/Presidential Candidates
Hunter has almost zero name recognition nationally, nor is he likely to get any, especially from a biased media.....sorry, but Hunter will always be a non starter. Just a fact of Political Reality......
Where’s my Islay Malt?
Romney is Obama-lite
Now that was funny. Duncan Hunter is Mr. Bland. I don’t mean to put him down, but his strong point is his stances on the issues. And his are more than fine with me.
To label him as a reactionary, just makes me chuckle.
I will e-malt you ;-)
LOLOLOL Thanks all this typing has worked up a powerful thirst..... My first toast is to you my Friend! Cheers, Down the Donks!
LOLOLOl, I like your style/descriptive terms....LOLOLOLOL
Right on “blue pencil-mapper!”
