what is this day of silence anyway,
do those kids not say a word all day and if so then what is the point of going to school?
What happens when a child is asked a question by a grown adult or off another child?
Anyway I thought this was supposed to be left in the bedroom, remember those days we was always told it is their own prive life and kept in the bedroom.
Well not anymore and the GOP should be talking about how the left and the homosexuals are destroying childrens lives.

They had this at our public school, just before I pulled my kids out. The protesting students refuse to speak, even if an adult teacher speaks to them. This is supposed to symbolize how bullied individuals (code for homos) have no voice.
The schools say they are powerless to prevent this, since it is a student led protest. Ironically, it’s deemed to be “free speech.” Our courts have forced the schools to let these student groups meet on school grounds, and they come in and influence the kids, even if the parents don’t approve.
We all have our own agenda. Mine is to raise Christian kids. Since my values have been removed from the schools, I have to pay extra to have my children educated as I see fit. The same should hold for these people. If they want their “alternative” agenda taught to their own kids, they should have their own schools, and be forced to pay extra for them.
There’s another simple solution which would mitigate the damages, but it’s not perfect. All schools, both public and private, should adopt an attitude that only parents of current students have standing to request that their student groups meet on their school grounds. That requirement would be politically neutral, but would keep a lot of these groups out. Most of the people starting these groups have no skin in the fight. Many of the current organizers don’t even have kids in the schools.
