Sometimes I think teachers are teaching to girls, that they have lessons that are designed to appeal to girls and turn off boys. Boys don’t do as well in school, are getting more feminized, and are attending college in smaller and smaller numbers. This type of project doesn’t help. I noticed that a lot of girls were protesting that the project was cancelled because they wanted to wear their dresses that they made.

Bingo. The goal is to bring down boys. Our entire system of teaching is slanted against the learning style of boys. For example, boys learn best while moving and not while sitting still and being quiet like girls.

Also, girls learn well while working in cooperative groups, whereas, boys are more competitive and work better on their own. Today, the big thing is to place the kids into groups to work.
