I don’t think it does. I can’t think of anything significant that the court has said the Federal government can’t do. We are not a nation with a limited Federal government anymore in practice. We are a nation with an unlimited central government . . . same as all the other empires, kingships, tyrannies and failed states before us. The words are still there in the Constitution but they’ve interpreted them out of existence.

We have allowed an agent of one entity of a contract,
the CREATED entity at that,
to have the sole “interpretation” power over that contract.

Insanity.

The only other recourse for the sovereign states is secession, and the left has deemed that issue “settled” by force of arms in the 1861-5.
