Man Commits Suicide Over Racism Accusation
Youth for Western Civilization ^ | 4/12/10 | Kevin DeAnna

Posted on 04/12/2010 11:45:40 AM PDT by Charles West

Political correctness does not just infect the United States. It affects our entire Western family. An extreme, though revealing story out of New Zealand today. Two friends, a white man and a black man, saw some immigration officers outside their office. The white man jokingly said to his friend, "You'd better hide." A trifle indelicate perhaps, but like most normal people, the black guy didn't care and interpreted this as a joke. Both men probably thought nothing of it.

However, one of those insufferable busybodies that constantly feel the need to police our words and thoughts reported this deeply serious matter to company higher-ups. Such is the world we live in that the white man was immediately suspended from his job. Devastated, Roy Amor, 61 years old, shot himself...

Liberals wouldn’t care...they’d just say “one less racist is a good thing” and not worry about rather a person was really a racist or not. Truth doesn’t enter into the liberal worldview.

Dude, why didn’t he just go over and beat the tar out of the busybody?

(serious question)

“Truth doesn’t enter into the liberal worldview.”

Nor does justice or compassion.

This is awful. RIP, Mr. Amor. The person who reported it should be stoned.

I remember the busybodies of the 60’s. They were constantly saying, “There ought to be a law.”

Now, they are a law unto themselves, and hell has been unleashed.

Woe unto those who call evil, good, and good, evil.

Betcha if these were females that no one would have lost their job over this. White males cannot be allowed to joke — period.

The hitler youth style informant was lucky he wasn’t the type to take revenge upon them before taking his life. I bet the rat who caused this doesn’t even feel bad.

My son is in the Marines, and the ethnic banter than goes on in the barracks would make Pelosi wet her pants. It’s because these fine young men see themselves as Marines, first and foremost. Maybe that’s one reason why liberals despise the military; it gives people an identity that goes beyond the color of their skin.

If I were one of this man's loved ones this is precisely what I would consider.

The legal system is failing so badly that I think we may witness a return to vigilantism.

There is more here than meets the eye.

"The person who reported it should be stoned."How about the person who suspended him? The underlying article in the link reported that:

"Roy was devastated when he was suspended and was worried he might lose his job." Mr Amor left three suicide notes describing his despair. His black colleague is understood to have attended Mr Amor's funeral. Opcare's chief executive, Michael O'Byrne, confirmed that Mr Amor had been suspended over the joke. "It's an enormous tragedy and we are all in mourning. I knew Roy personally and he was an excellent technician." Asked if he had any regrets about suspending him, Mr O'Byrne replied: "I don't want to comment further." Mr Amor had worked at the clinic for 30 years and leaves his wife of 39 years and a grown up son and daughter.

The guy was 61, and his whole career was at that firm. He was extremely worried they were trying to fire him over this BS. What we don't know is, if others at the place had been fired on trumped-up excuses, just as they neared retirement age. Or maybe he deserved to be let go for other reasons, and that's why he was worried. Either way, the story is not complete without more information.

I am in business with a liberal and have numerous liberal friends and extended family members. What you posted is not reflective at all of their attitude. They are some of the most loving, caring, "do anything for you"-type people I know. They will be horrified to read or hear about this story. Language is powerful, and we all (me included) need to take care about what we say and how we say it. Commenting with such a blanket statement poisons the atmosphere. Do you have any liberal friends? I suspect you do. Share this article with them in a non-judgmental way and I suspect you will find an area of agreement from which future political discussions can spring from.

Just my two cents.

New Zealand first, and second the First Amendment only restricts Congress not a private business.

Very true. The liberal version of compassion is like the story Jesus told about the people who prayed out loud in the temple to be seen as praying. It's just a matter of show lacking in actual substance.

I worked with many dudes, of different ethnic persuasions and color. One time a black Jamacian brought a book to work and we all set down and read and laughed looking through it.
It was a paperback of cartoons. What made it FUNNY one half was BLACK jokes and the other half was WHITE jokes. The jokes were printed so you had to turn the book over so either set of jokes started from the front.
I would love to see that book again or an updated version of this book.

You are, of course, welcome to offer your two cents, but you missed my point. If the story were about someone in the Tea Party, for instance who shot themselves after the liberals had accused him of racism a significant number would not mourn...they would assume guilt because the person was, after all, a Tea Party person, which is a racist in the standard liberal world view. Not only wouldn't there be sadness on sites like Huff post and Kos there would be posts rejoicing in the "justice" of the death. If you doubt me you don't read enough.

In the movie Men in Black one character said something to the effect that a person is a reasonable, rational animal, but people, on the other hand are dangerous. A single liberal might be a good friend and partner...liberals are in general dispecible, hypocritical, lying beasts.

There is no Bill of Rights in NZ, or OZ for that matter.
Very sad story.
