Unrestrained by the white straitjacket many of his constituents want imposed on him, the strident Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) invaded a meeting of local Republicans at a Perkins restaurant in his congressional district.
The freshman congressman berated the GOPers for daring to send "spies" to observe a meeting of Organizing for America, a controversial pressure group run by the Democratic National Committee.
Grayson can be seen in videos confronting Republicans. In one video he is asked if he feels he owes his constituents "an explanation for [his] recent votes?" He replies, "I don't owe them anything; they're trying to defeat me."
I asked Grayson's congressional office for a comment. Grayson attacked his constituents, denying he'd done anything wrong by allegedly storming into the meeting.
"That is completely not true and they are hypocrites for suggesting that," said Grayson. "These are the same people who did whatever they could to disrupt my health care town hall meetings, and shouted outside the meeting."
Grayson then hurled accusations at Republicans.
"I think it is very revealing. The Republican Party seems to be returning to its Nixonian roots. Corruption, lying, and spying. I thought they moved beyond that after Watergate, but I was wrong."

Is there any recent polling on this fool?
Too bad he is in the next district from mine here in Orlando area....because I would enjoy voting against him in the next election
We got Suzanne “Kookmas” Kosmas.....who was against ObamaCare before she voted for it....unlike Grayson...who seems to be everywhere....Kookmas is nowhere to be found.
This week....they are having a townhall meeting with Suzanne Kookmas....without inviting her. TEA Party people around here getting clever.....
Good for you! This guy sounds good and you bet I’ll donate. Grayson needs to be in a rubber room somewhere. :)
In addition, Kipling stated that Grayson’s campaign had a glaring omission. During 1988, when Grayson had just turned thirty and while working for the Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson law firm, he spent four days in the Psychiatric Institute of Washington. What the cause of this stay was is yet unclear, although testimony from co-workers suggests that Grayson was extremely combative with fellow employees, including slapping a female intern in the face. Grayson was released after PIW doctors declared him “not to be a threat to the public.”
What kind of quack doctors did that?
The guy is clearly a public menace. You don't need a medical degree to see that. Hopefully, he will end up back in the lunatic asylum where he belongs.
LOL and there are people that voted for this nut.
I havent been able to find any polling, perhaps because so many people have filed for his seat (> 12). I assume we will see polls after the primary.
I have seen articles describing him as vulnerable, not because of his moronic behavior, but because of high unemployment in his district. However he has been able to bring home lots of pork, so that may lessen his vulnerability.
I really want to see him go and do wonder whether internal polls showing poor prospects are contributing to his meltdowns.
I have not heard the latest polling. I do know that Grayson has even been an embarrassment to the DEMS!
We Floridians are focusing on vetting candidates for the Primary Election which comes August 24th. In Grayson’s FL District 8, Dan Fanelli is the best to face Grayson in November. The other candidates running are nice people, but Dan has the leadership qualities and experience we need in Congress. He is a true Constitutional Conservative who will faithfully honor his oath! Check him out, and you will see what I mean!

NOTE: Dan just recently had a serious web site problem, so some of the information from his original site is not there. Know it all will be back up soon.

I am from St.Pete, so can't vote for Dan Fanelli either, but am voting with my donations and spreading the word about Dan being the one we need to face Grayson! Like I said earlier, even small donations help the grassroots candidates because that need all the help they can get!
Check out the candidates in your District 24 who are running in the Primary to face “Kookmas” in November.
Then get with other grassroots folks in your District and help that candidate all you can. We Floridians MUST take on every Socialist DEM in our state! We can do it too!!
I am of the opinion that is what *he* is trying to do. He would like nothing better than to be attacked so that he has something else to bray about.
How fitting for the jackass that he is.
