If that's the case, why is it everyone I know curses that dirty, nasty corrupt country?
Why are their citizens so damn lazy, they'd rather trash other countries laws and squat by the millions with their hands out, while destroy and undermining entire infrastructures such as hospitals, schools, jails and social services?

I was raised in Los Angeles as a teenager in the late 50’s. My father was raised on the streets as a kid and was very street wise. He taught me one very good lesson. If I was confronted by someone and I knew in my mind and heart that it was going to end in a fight........deck the other guy as hard as I could. Don’t stand around and wait for the first punch from the other guy. He also taught me that if I ever lost a fight, wait a couple of days and catch the other guy from behind and take him down. Never let them believe that you lost. I was not a big fighter but in LA, you best be able to take care of yourself. Remember the famous saying “I’ll be back”? It works. People need to be standing up more these days and let these gangs know that the talking is done and they are going to hurt real bad.
Some of out here are so bitter, they no longer believe any candidates, any elected government officials or anyone that is even remotely connected to government.

The Mexicans that are law abiding and honest are caught in the middle too, between an impotent and corrupt government and the violent drug gangs. So what are they to do when “the bite” is demanded? Have the head of their child sent to them?
The Mexicans I speak to say the situation is worse than what the news relates.
