University of Washington ^ | April 7, 2010 | Prof. Christopher Parker

Posted on 04/09/2010 8:20:36 AM PDT by xlib

Approximately 45% of whites either strongly or somewhat approve of the movement. Of those, only 35% believe blacks to be hardworking, only 45 % believe blacks are intelligent, and only 41% think that blacks are trustworthy. Perceptions of Latinos aren’t much different.

KEYWORDS: racism; teaparty
Anybody know anything about this, or its author, Christopher Parker? Not much at the website, no backup data, etc. Here's Parker's page:

Also, this: The survey found that 30 percent of respondents had never heard of the tea party, but among those who had, 32 percent strongly approved of it. In that group, 56 percent of Republicans strongly approved, 31 percent of independents strongly approved and 5 percent of Democrats strongly approved...Conducted by telephone from Feb. 8 to March 15, the survey reached 494 whites, 380 blacks, 77 Latinos and 64 members of other races.

So, his conclusion is based on the opinions of 222 white people from 7 states.

I smell a rat.

I’d love to see how Latinos and Asians responded to questions on Black intelligence and trustworthiness.

I bet this turd never asked those questions. It would spoil his “whites are racist” story line.

More BS from our institutions of higher learning. Funny how they never poll attitudes toward Whites. Wonder what good things the Rev Wright crowd has to say? Or the LaRaza crowd. Post racial? Yeah, the Black & Hispanic Caucuses are really just bridge clubs.

Actually on second thought why don’t they just Go F themselves.

I’d like to see the questionnaire. The wording and order of the questions make all the difference. It doesn’t appear to be available.

I smell a pile of lies!

Why don’t they do a survey on what Blacks and Latinos think of whites?

I emailed him with some of the questions here.

Hello there,
Just for fairness, did your survey also include questions about:
# 1. How Latinos and Asians responded to questions on Black intelligence and trustworthiness?
# 2. Latino and Black attitudes toward Whites. (I wonder what good things the Rev Wright, Louis Farrakhan crowd has to say about whites? Or the LaRaza crowd. )
# 3. I’d like to see the questionnaire. The wording and order of the questions make all the difference. It doesn’t appear to be available.

Being black myself, I know for a fact that for example, there is more racism from Latinos to Blacks than any racism I have ever experienced from whites.”

He replied:
“Yes. There those questions. We'll have them in a full report later next week”

Does ANYONE think Meghan isn’t doing her father’s bidding???

Good on ya. I’ll be looking for that report (wonder why they delay it? Trying to get traction for the explosive claims before they have to back them up, I guess.)

Or maybe they want to release the data to coincide with the tea party protests on Thursday. Anybody know anything about this guy, beyond the book he wrote?
