CONSIDER THE SOURCE. FROM WIKIPEDIA:

[Stanley Bernard Greenberg (born May 10, 1945) is a leading Democratic pollster and political strategist who has advised the campaigns of Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and John Kerry, as well as hundreds of other candidates and organizations in the United States and around the world, including former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

A political scientist who received his Bachelor's Degree from Miami University and his Ph.D. from Harvard, Greenberg spent a decade teaching at Yale University before becoming a political consultant. His 1985 study of Reagan Democrats in Macomb County, Michigan became a classic of progressive political strategy, and the basis for his continuing argument that Democrats must actively work to present themselves as populists advocating the expansion of opportunity for the middle class. As the pollster for Clinton in 1992, Greenberg was a major figure in the famed campaign “war room” (and hence the documentary film of the same name).

He is the CEO of Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, a polling and consulting firm, and co-founder (with James Carville and Bob Shrum) of Democracy Corps, a non-profit organization which produces left-leaning political strategy. He is married to Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, who currently represents Connecticut's 3rd congressional district.]

showed there was a "sea change'' in Californians' attitudes toward illegal immigration since 1994

LOL. There has been a sea change because immigration has changed the demograhics of the California electorate. Between 1990 and 2000 the foreign born population of CA grew from 6.4 million to 8.8 million including an increase of 1.4 million Mexican born. The 2008 Census estimate has 13.1 million Latino/Hispanics in CA or 36% of the population. 9.9 million are foreign born or 27% of the population. CA has been colonized.

Me thinks the 67% is the result of 16 more years of illegal aliens coming into this country illegally. You don’t think that only legal residents are registering to vote do you?

It’s inevitable, folks.

They can’t destroy our sovereignty without diluting the distinctly American population.

Mark my words, they will hand us over to a global government at some point. To do that they have to end this country.

Look around. If it isn’t obvious to you already that this is what they want then at least keep an open mind to such a thing.

What they don’t understand (they’re evil on wheels if they do) is that they will kill millions, maybe billions in the process.

We’re not evolved enough for this. Especially the ones who believe themselves to be superior to their fellow man.

If they were enlightened they would understand that no man is fit to rule another.

Well, let’s see.

CA now has so many illegals and has become so liberal that financially it is about to collapse. Businesses are fleeing and there is no personal freedom there because of an overreaching government. From what I can see there is no middle class - you are either poor or rich and taxed to death.

Now who did they get to answer this poll? In a few months they will be so bankrupt they won’t be able to pay their workers, and I’ll bet you if you took a poll then they will still insist on tax and spend, and wouldn’t consider voting anything but Democrat.

Seventy percent favor stricter border controls and a temporary worker program that does not grant illegal immigrants citizenship and requires them to return to their homeland.

Californians are opposed to illegal immigration and ethnic/political cleansing even when liberals do the polling.

Perhaps they are including the illegal aliens themselves in the poll now?

If the “path” includes paying fines and back taxes, which is what the story says was in the poll question, I’m all for it federally. I’ve never seen a “path” that included any kind of punishment, they all are just amnesty.

A boat will only hold so many people before it starts to sink. It is painfully obvious that the liberal whack jobs in the CA legislature DO NOT believe in that concept. The result of that fact is that CA has been over run by illegals. The state will have to literally collapse before it can be fixed.

The poll was probably taken in towns filled with illegal aliens...but it’s not all bad.

The survey of 1,515 registered voters showed that 67 percent of Californians support a two-pronged approach to solving the illegal immigration problem: Why do we bother with elections if we can just poll 1,515 people and know the will of all of them?
