Another wonderful ‘trip’, Kaslin. Thanks so much :).
President and Mrs Bush are so gracious, comfortable in their position and so not actors in a play.
Just wonderful! Thanks. Kaslin.
CyberAnt, you described that night so beautifully. I’ll never forget it as long as I live.
Thank you SO MUCH for these wonderful photos, Kaslin.
I am practically in tears looking at them and realizing what we have lost and thinking about the awful anti-American PUNK who is now in the WH.
I pray that President and Mrs. Bush have blessings overflowing in their lives every moment of every day. I pray that they have peace and happiness and love that knows no bounds.
I can say without reservation that I LOVE these people, and I will never forget what they did to bind the wounds of this nation and to lead us with strength and grace when we needed it most.
God BLESS George W. Bush and his beloved Laura!
Geeeee thanks! It’s nice to know that night meant a lot to someone else too.
I changed my username. I used to be LibertyLover2009. I don’t know if I’ll receive pings posted to my fmr username, that’s why I’m letting you know. ;)
GWB Update . . .
President Bush is currently visiting China:
BUSH SAYS US SHOULD NOT FEAR CHINA’S RISE
. . . Bush said, however, that in pursuing stronger ties with Beijing, the United States should not compromise its principles, such as freedom of religion. [Unfortunately, Obama would NEVER make such a comment.]

Wow~! Thanks, Deb. What’s happened to the
people of Uganda is nothing short of a
MIRACLE!
God bless Pres. Bush. (sniff ..)
Adorable!!
"As President, George W. Bush did something momentous that few of you may know about, something so momentous that it is saving millions of lives and generating goodwill for America around the world. Millions of Africans who`d been dying of AIDS are now living with AIDS, thanks to the Bush program."
WOW! Thanks so much for pointing out this article--and the other bits of information, DrDeb! I love reading these kudos to dear GWB.
Former US president George W. Bush listens to a translation during a financial forum in Shanghai on April 8, 2010.
Former U.S. President George H.W. Bush (R) and his wife Barbara watch the game from their seats behind home plate on the opening night of the MLB season as the Houston Astros faced the San Francisco Giants in Houston April 5, 2010. (Look at her hand on his leg. So very sweet.)
Thanks for all the links! How did I miss the Bush Childhood Home page on Facebook! LOL!
....and amazingly enough he is finally getting the recognition
he is due for the things he put into place to make America
a better place...without raising taxes! Good to read!
J.C. WATTS: ‘HISTORY’S GOING TO BE KIND TO GEORGE W. BUSH’
The following quote (from the article) put a BIG smile on my face:
“. . . The biggest applause he (Watts) got — the biggest of this conference so far — came when he defended Obama’s predecessor.
“Some might think that George W. Bush had his shortcomings,” said Watts, “but let me tell you something — history’s going to be kind to George W. Bush.”
The praise for Bush inspired a standing ovation.”

THANK YOU for posting the wonderful photos of President Bush and his amazing parents!!
[Hope Sam’s recovery is going well?!]
Thanks for that. I feel like giving him a standing ovation
from my kitchen chair! :D
Maybe his honest and positive comments will give the Republican wimps who have been afraid to defend OUR President the courage to begin speaking up.
Thanks for the article, DrDeb! It made my day!
Bar looks a bit frail, but well. It's good to see her!
I meant to give an update on Sam but got distracted and forgot. As I type this he is outside playing basketball with one of his basketball mentors. They are playing horse as that seemed safe vs. a real game which did not. :) (The staples are in for one more week---and I know the patch of bone that was placed is not yet set firmly!) A week ago at this time he was in ICU. Amazing! We are so grateful for the prayers of you and our other Dose friends!
I was surprised at how good she looks. Yes, a bit frail, but that could be accounted for just in age. They are so sweet, aren’t they?
A screen shows participants taking pictures of former US president George W. Bush (R) as he delivers his speech during a financial forum in Shanghai on April 8, 2010.
Thanks for the new photos. It appears that our "unpopular" President is "unpopular" everywhere. :)
Shooting hoops?? Praise the LORD. He IS good all the time!
