Wow...that was a good shake...it went on for quite a while. Everybody ok?
There was just a 4.1 up in Sonoma County, not quite a bookend, but interesting. Keep hitting “refresh” on the quake.usgs.gov page.
felt here in south Orange County...right during the middle of the easter egg hunt. The kids all just stood in the middle of the lawn and rode the waves :o). Hope everyone and their property is okay.
Felt the roller while my wife and I were watching Jesus of Nazareth.
a 4.1 has also just hit the Geysers area in N. CA
Pretty gnarly here in the IE! :o0
Looking at the map it appears to be part of the Southern San Andreas fault that runs into the Sea of Cortez. They have lots of smaller earthquakes in that general area all the time including a few 5’s. This is the largest one in quite while.
I wonder if this is the beginning of something bigger as there is a ton of activity at just one place in Mexico. Maybe it’s a drug cartel blasting a new tunnel? :P

We felt it strong in Yuma, I could see the cars rocking on their suspensions in the driveway, and the house across the street the windows were flexing and moving...
Hi! in Newport Beach ... good shake over here!
Rolled for about 10 seconds in L.A. Harbor. No major.
Felt is here in the SanFernando Valley. We could tell it was big - somewhere. Only felt like a slight, slow roll here.
Absolutely felt hard in Chula Vista. Chandeliers swaying, house creaking. Family got the heck out of the house. Aftershocks.
I thought the Chilean Terramoto was 8.8 ?
CNN covering this by showing live Twitter feed.
Hemet-San Jacinto rockin and rollin on Easter Sunday...
West Hollywood? Never thought I could STILL meet a WeHo freeper who hasn’t gotten out of that lib city. What am I saying, I’m in Hollywood..LOL
