Indian diplomats close to Singh say the lackluster results show how far the relationship has fallen since Bill Clinton and the two Bushes transformed a strained Cold War rivalry into a close strategic partnership between the world's largest democracies. Obama's predecessors built a relationship around trade negotiations, joint military exercises, and ad hoc coalitions for humanitarian assistance in the aftermath of the Indonesia tsunami. Despite his reputation for uniquely pushy diplomacy, it was George W. Bush who concluded the landmark deal that recognized India as a legitimate nuclear power and opened the door to the sale of civilian nuclear technology to India. No single American move has done more to demonstrate Washington's respect for New Delhi as a rising and equal power. Now Obama, who came to office promising to respect U.S. allies, is backpedaling on that deal, to the growing chagrin of the Indians.

You mean Coddle Our Enemies and Flip Off Our Friends ISN’T a good foreign policy strategy?
NAHHHH!!!!
Obama is a radical Muslim
that’s all that India should need to know.......
Ever notice how much the rest of the free world hates America now that we have this dildo sitting in the Oval Office?
.
Is India Muslim? No.
Is Obama Muslim?
“...annoyed by Obama”?
What a concept!
Ya, the liberals said that we lost the respect of the world because of Bush. America would be liked and respected now that the Bush era was over. So we were told.
The liberals should be held to account for the results of their policies. From the war on poverty, to the bloodbath after the war in Vietnam, to the exponentially higher costs of entitlement programs than the liberals of the day predicted, the liberals are seldom right about what will happen when we follow their policies.
Once India was a darling of the Left during the Nehru-Ghandi dynasty with the Nehru suits, socialism, and leading the so-called Non-aligned nations. I wonder what India did? The fact that it embraced market reforms? It acts like a mature country instead of espousing the fashionable cause of the day.
Actually, 13% of India is Muslim. A pretty big percentage.
Hello India. Join the Club, the UK and Israel have a seat waiting for you.
I think even China is getting a little peeved by all this debt spending.
I think the dirty little secret is that the rest of the world isn’t very thrilled about America giving up its roll as the leader of the free world in order to become just another dirty little banana republic with a corrupt government. The world has enough of those already.
He won’t associate with any nation that has an Anglo history.
Sorry, but ...
Muslim = Hate India.
Duh.
Not only that, but when America goes down, they do too...
America made the machine, harnessed the machine and America will keep it going in spite of some asshole bureaucrat in the WH.
America knows it needs to be healthy and economically sound.
AND the world needs a healthy US of A. The only real detractors are the muslim street voice. They are jealous for the quality of life that America has developed... something that Obama is seeking to destroy.
