A federal judge in Utah ruled in favor of the CIA in the agency's refusal to release documents regarding the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.
U.S. District Judge Clark Waddoups Tuesday refused to order the agency to hand over the documents to Salt Lake City lawyer Jesse Trentadue, who filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the CIA in 2008.
The Salt Lake Tribune said Wednesday the ruling revealed for the first time that the CIA took part in the investigation of the 1995 bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City, which killed 168 people.
Trentadue filed the FOIA request for documents he believes could shed light on the death of his brother at a federal prison a few months after the bombing. Trentadue's brother, a bank robber being held on a parole violation, was found hanged in his cell. Trentadue believes his brother may have been killed by guards who thought he knew something about the case.
The Tribune said the 12 contested documents also contain information about foreign nationals whose names came up in the case.
that tells me all I need to know about the middle eastern man thing.
Clinton made sure to fast track the death sentence of the bomb delivery guy to hide even more facts.
Yep. Ol’ John Muhammed Doe sure skipped town early in that investigation.
and TWA 800...Clinton is a mega pussy
Agreed. Can’t have the people finding out that Timothy wasn’t a Christian right-winged extremist acting solely with his redneck accomplice Terry Nichols.
This may also relate to the curious presence of Lt. Andreas Strassmeier, the son of a prominent German politician, who was staying at Elohim City at the time of the bombing. He seems to have been connected with, or was a liaison to, the CIA. The BATF, FBI, and CIA all had double agents involved with the plotting.
Perhaps also the connection to Muslim Terrorists in the South Pacific.
I think Jayna Davis got it right.
Other than a one-month delay following the disclosure that the FBI withheld documents from the defendant, Bush and Ashcroft maintained that fast track.
***that tells me all I need to know about the middle eastern man thing.***
You mean the “six swarthy men of Middle Eastern extraction, dressed in running suits, fleeing from the scene.” So said ABC’s GMA that fateful morning.
for later
Yup, he got wacked and stacked pretty quick. No 30 years of appeals. I think there was a terrorist connection. He had a philipeno wife and made several trips to the country.
Clinton was running his presidency by the polls and did not want to stir anything up. Just like Waco. Democrats = Douche Bags
that tells me all I need to know about the middle eastern man thing.
Exactly..., the CIA would be bringing in their foreign intelligence apparatus into the investigation on the Oklahoma City Bombing, with the involvement of foreign terrorists.
Of course, Jayna Davis knew this and wrote it all up in her book ...
Some believe that it was an inside job.oklahoma city bombing: startling evidence proves government cover-up
A truck on he street w/fertilizer can't create a clean cut like that.
Simple physics and math.
“Kenneth Michael Trentadue-Wiki”
Interesting article - real epidemic of suicides by hanging among prisoners around that time.
Reminds me of the “Arkanicide” list that would go up on FR back in the day - it would cover more than a full screen, and I don’t think it even had the three guys listed in the article above on it. I guess that’s the beautiful thing about the Arkanicide list - it seems to never stop growing.
Yes. Jayna Davis’s book is important. But folks also ought to read Brigadier General Partin’s report on the bombing. Also Ambrose Evans-Pritchard’s “The Secret Life of Bill Clinton.”
The people involved in the bombing were riddled with double agents from the FBI and the ATF. But instead of stepping in and arresting people before it went off, they appear to have helped with the bombing.
Evidence suggests that Clinton knew what was going to happen several weeks ahead of time, and had his speech damning Rush Limbaugh and his Vast Right Wing Militias well ahead of time. That speech, aided by the press, turned the election around.
I thought it was illegal for the CIA to engage in domestic operations.
