Chicago and NY still have plenty of pockets for real Americans; if you want to avoid the libs, you can. Its like this is a Yankees bar or a Mets bar and this is a Cubs or a White Sox bar.
SF’s traffic is the equivalent of LA’s. Try getting to, say, Palo Alto from downtown SF any time after 14:00.
Los Angeles, at least, isn’t geographically isolated. Seattle and SF are both in the same boat.

Amen to that. Guess i would die in LA LA land.
For whatever reason, I’ve never been to SD, but I know I would like it there.
Because everyone drives, public transit is a life-threatening joke, and, well, they have almost as many folks as New York.
It’s really an okay place, and you can always find solitude that you can’t in the “TriState”.
Have many neighbors from Frisco. The street people have the
run of the area.
and even though they are libs, it was getting a bit much.
We spent our summers growing up in northern Virginia where my dad’s family lived. Talk about muggy and hot... the place is a SWAMP for goodness sake.
I hated staying at my grandmother’s because it was so hot and humid you literally could NOT sleep. Then around dawn when we might nod off from pure exhaustion, the roosters started in. I wanted to SCREAM.
Most of the time we stayed at my aunt’s house, she had central air. a-a-a-a-a-h-h

L.A. always makes me think of a NJ shore town, only much more spread out.
That state is losing lots of people. Looks like they’re going to lose some more.
When my niece & nephews were little, they loved the SD Zoo.
My friend used to live in Bayville NJ.
San Diego has a huge population of Europeans.
Many in my neighborhood also many former New Yorkers and Boston people.

They might very well lose 3 Congressional seats. Most of the Atlantic NE is losing, while Texas and, yes, the Southwest will be gaining seats.
