This is the same crap the lady Congresscritter from Texas was spouting on Fox this morning: “We need to give our military troops police training, the wall didn’t work, we need sensors and aerial surveillance.” For what? How on earth are border guards (of whatever stripe) going to get to where the migrantes, coyotes or narcotraficantes are “sensed” in time to do anything about it?

1. Our troops are NOT police.

2. The wall didn't work, because most of it never got built.

3. Sensors? HSD Napolitano cancelled the 'vitural fence' just a week or so ago.

Exactly! Unless you have a badge on the ground near where the sensor detects something, the intelligence is worthless. The whole point is that the border needs armed enforcers, whether they are ICE or the military, it doesn’t matter.
