Danny Williams is the premier of the Canadian province of Newfoundland, a mostly impoverished island of just over half a million people on the eastern edge of North Americastill perhaps best-known as the place nearest to where the ship Titanic struck an iceberg and sank almost a century ago. The 60-year-old Williams, who as a premier is the rough equivalent of a U.S. governor, found out during a doctors appointment a year ago that one of his heart valves was failing to close properly, causing a leakage. Eight months later, in December, his doctors informed him that his problem had become severe, and they advised him to get it fixed right away, lest he suddenly slip into heart failure.
The tyrants have exempted themselves and their families from the horrors they are busy imposing on us and our families.
And I don’t just mean the nightmare “health insurance” bill they imposed over the wishes of the American People
Sounds like the actions of a Politburo to me!
Orwell`s Animal Farm realized
Call Danny Williams and his fellow Canadaian socialists what they are:F’ing hypocrites.
This is what I’ve been saying all along about Obamacare. When the government subsidizes health care, that increases the demand for health care services and drives the cost to the government way up beyond all government forecasts. Then health care costs are busting the budget and threatening a fiscal meltdown, so the costs have to be cut by capping pay for health care professionals and reducing the quality of health care. Some of the best specialists leave the country to practice overseas where there are no pay caps. The level of quality and innovation declines throughout the whole system. It always happens; it’s just basic economics. It’s already happened in Britain and Canada. We must repeal this disastrous legislation so that top quality health care does not also disappear in the United States.
Subsidize housing through Freddie and Fannie - average home prices greatly outstrip the rate of inflation.
Subsidize college tuition through Sallie Mae, prices greatly outpace inflation (mine doubled while getting my bachelors).
Explode the number of consumers and subsidize health care... then...
