"I don't see the interest unless you are a voter in FLA or a campaign supporter. For the vast majority of us it is not really very relevant. Nothing we can do about who FLA chooses to run for Senate."

It most certainly is if you pay attention to national party politics. Marco is the first to go against the party elites (NRSC and John Cornyn) in that they endorsed Crist just minutes after he announced last May (about 15 months before a scheduled primary). Marco had announced three months earlier and nobody paid attention. Marco was labeled as the first Tea Party candidate before the Scott Brown election came to light.

So this pits the Tea Party against the National Republicans and right now Marco is troucing Crist and the NRSC still headlines Crist on its web page. We should all use this to tell the party elites that we can make our own decisions and to STAY THE HELL OUT OF OUR PRIMARIES. This also has huge implications for McCain since he also endorses Crist.

The NRSC made the same mistake here in CO. Voting GOPers are not happy with the nationally anointed candidate.

What is so unique about this race between Marco and lyin' Crist is that early on we all did straw votes in each respective county Republican Executive meetings. Many counties reported lopsided votes telling the FLGOP that they were going to be in serious trouble backing Crist. They seemed to have backed off and appear to be seeing the light.

However some of their recent appointments in other areas leave a lot to be disired.

What we do here makes a huge difference don't let anyone tell yo it does not.
