To: worst-case scenario

The only people trying to start a civil war are the ones that are in the process of staging a coup against the US Constitution.

The rest of us would just rather see the Constitution be followed, or changed through the proper process.

It is up to the military to decide which side of that argument they want to be on.

If the military oath is to protect and defend the Constitution then how do they decide which side to help? It seems to me it’d be a state by state revolt should it happen but then the president could nationalize the Guard ...

He says the moment someone goes against the consitution he’ll defend it. How about going to D.C. and do your job.

I know that’s going to make a lot of people angry. And he’s right in that the military will fire on civilians. And that’s the scary part. Another example of where the constitution is trampled on.

With that said, I’ve not seen anyone on here calling for a civil war. I’ve seen people say it might come to that.

I have to wonder if this wasn’t written by a liberal who’s scared to death there’s going to be a civil war. In this day and age we need to check out everybody. Even those who profess to be on our side.

The military is sworn to protect the Constitution. If they do that, then the whole mess could be over quickly.

Wondering if they will protect us from Obama’s national police force?

Agreed on all points. As in Spain in the 1930s, the military and law enforcement will splinter as will every sector of government and society. Their problem is the number of utter parasites on their side. Our problem is the number of utter criminals on their side.

Now I 'd like to disperse a myth here - many of you think that US military would not fight civilians. I can't speak for all, but in my case - the moment you declare civil war, you're no longer civilians. The moment you attack the constitution, you're now enemies of that constitution.

Three points:

1) The Obama backers are attempting to drive out those in the military that would refuse to fire on civilians. So this may very well be accurate, they would fire on us.

2)The so called health bill provides for a private army of the president, appointed by the president. I'm sure it will do anything real patriots in our armed forces wouldn't.

3) If this member of the military was serious about defending the Constitution, we would be in the midst of a military coup right now. WE are fighting against the enemies of the Constitution, the military SHOULD be supporting US.

Actually four points: Some of us may be willing to die fighting for our freedom rather than be slaves to totalitarians. Better dead than Red.

The point of this piece seems to be telling us that we will die if we don't submit to dictators. Well, pal, we will die if we do submit.
We can hang separately or we can hang together. But these bastards are coming for us either way, the only thing we have control over is how we respond when they do.
