Or foreign arms suppliers.If you break it down red/blue a lot of manufacturing is in the red states. Especially fighter aircraft. Small arms goes to blue. Shipyards red. Tanks blue. Tanks are a big problem for red. If red has the better Navy then tanks can be purchased abroad. If Ohio breaks red (or is overrun by red), then tanks go red.

Ohio is a red state if you remove lib population centers like Cleveland and Columbus.
