A very good point made on another thread—any criticism against Palin for supporting McCain today, if sincere, should have been used when she accepted his nomination of her in 2008.

That reasoning is flawed. We knew nothing about her. McCain had already won the nomination.

Why would anyone NOT support her at that time? This is completely bogus reasoning?

No, the point is McCain is the same then as now. McCain is the standard in the current argument.

If McCain is the honest standard for judging Palin, the standard would have been used in 2008.
