The Mayberry Crowd is going to go completely off the rails when Sarah speaks tonite in Nevada. Their little heads are going to spin like Linda Blair’s did in the “Exorcists”.

If Palin had released a statement, or given one speech, saying "I support McCain for reelection" she would be getting almost no flak on FR.

But what she is doing now goes far beyond that.

If she were seen washing McCain's car or busy at her sewing machine letting out one of Megan's dresses, I don't think I would now be surprised.

Endorsements are not all equal. Endorsing a candidate when there is no conservative alternative is understandable. Endorsing a leftist over a conservative is unforgivable.

Thanks for the common sense. If there is a third party candidate in the next presidential election we are cooked. Sarah gets that, and is doing what she can to unify the party with a little pragmatism. It seems some would rather re-elect Obama than face the reality of needing some we don’t agree with to win the election. Ex: Scott Brown in Massachusetts or Martha Coakley?

That list you keep putting up on every thread mostly illustrates the problem: Beltway cronyism over principle. Many expect something different from Sarah, but so far they aren’t getting it.

Anyone who lies and says a RINO is a conservative and actively campaigns for the RINO and smears the conservative in the race.

How DARE she try to build a winning coalition of friends and allies that includes her running mate of just two years ago, a man who despite his many and obvious flaws WAS the GOP flag bearer who attracted some 47% of the vote.

No, she should burn bridges and alienate everyone everywhere she goes in the name of ideological conservative purity!

Do I need the /s. Considering the caliber of arguments by the Mayberry crowd, I consider it necessary.

Many of the endorsements that you cite are for the general election against the RAT, after the RINO had already won the GOP nomination. Palin has not just endorsed RINO Juan McLame, but she is actively campaigning for McLame in a primary against a real conservative. She has lost my support and will have to earn it back.

Good point.

McCain was never my choice. But you gotta go with the hand we were dealt. Thanks Rat media. Don’t let them do this again. No Mitt, we have at least a year or more before we confirm a REAL candidate. I like the young guns that fought so hard against Obamacare. Ryan, Cantor, Bachman. Mike Pence, too. We’ll have a better field to choose from because of it.

Exactly!

Everyone wants to shoot at Sarah for endorsing McCain but they don’t attack the other big names who also endorsed him.

Oh, and the elephant in the room is J. D. Hayworth. That man may claim Tea Party platforms but he is no conservative. He is a crook who has ties that run deep with corruption. He is fooling everyone and apparently they are dumb enough to fall for it.

At least with McCain, we know who he is good, bad and ugly. He will always be a federalist and vote against big government and waste to the best of his abilities. Being that we are in an economic crisis, that counts for a lot.

I would go after Lindsey Graham before I would worry about McCain. Oh and Romney just may well rip apart this country due to his own self-interest. I have no faith in a man that will do anything and say anything to get what he wants. Romney was never a conservative and is not one now.

Conservatives need to learn to pick their battles and fighting against Palin isn’t one of them.

It isn’t the liberals tearing America apart, it is the infighting amongst the conservatives that can’t seem to see the big picture.

Hunter belongs at the BOTTOM of that list. He did not have a conservative alternative to choose from.

Unlike Tancredo, DeMint, Pawlenty, Newt, Santorum, etc.

Excellent points. The only arguments against Palin for supporting McCain are “I’m handicapped with tunnelvision” or “I love Karl Marx.”
