Rush Limbaugh, in his interview of Palin, actually ended with a question on immigration. This was the exchange, according to Vdare:
Limbaugh: Thirty seconds: Immigration. Can you do it in 30 seconds before we have to go?
Gov. Palin: I can’t do it in 30 seconds but just know that … You know, let me put it simply: illegal immigrants are called ‘illegal’ for a reason. We need to crack down on this. We need to listen to the border states where the governors there have some solutions and we need to get serious about that.

Opposed to amnesty, yes..but as far as a path to citizenship, no, because no one has asked her, its either in the last 30 seconds of an interview or its never asked..someone should flat out ask her her opinion already so that this ends, one way or another
Any President who stripped citizens of their citizenship would be a bigger totalitarian than anything 0baMao has done so far. Any Congress that went along with it would be one of the worst thugocracies in history.

Greta asked him about immigration, mentioning amnesty for illegals. McCain evaded that portion of the question and said he was for a temporary worker program and securing the border, especially because of increased violence.
Greta then asked if Sarah agreed, and Sarah said yes, particularly with the issue of securing the border. she had to answer in ways that were supportive of McCain without ceding anything but she isn’t going to mention her disagreements if she had any in that setting. She had to frame her answers in the context of an endorsement, not what she would do if she was the candidate.
I hope that's the correct summary of what happened. And if it is, I hope she heads out of Arizona tomorrow and lets Juan take it to August 26th with no more help from her.
She said she supported McCain’s position, but then talked about border security which was the only specific Mccain mentioned. Nothing really major.
Discernment is lacking in Sarah, if she doesn’t see how bad Juan McCain is for America. Sad really ...
I agree with you, I would really like to know on which issues she is willing to distance herself from McBackstabber. Amnesty/path to citizenship would be a huge one.

This will all be settle soon. The Dems are going to bring up immigration/amnesty and McCain will have to deal with that while running against JD. Sarah will no doubt be asked her opinion at that time. There is no need for anyone to get hot and bothered about it now.
When Lil crooked mouth comes back on later I will force myself to watch it again just for the cause. Will also post a retraction if indeed it was as reported.

I suspect she has decided that running for Prez will be too big a price to pay or too hard a row to hoe and is repaying Juan and will gradually slip back to her private life.

She should have a facebook posting to clear this all up, either she is for it or against it, and if she is against it, what exactly is she against..I don’t mind that she campaigned for McCain because I get the loyalty thing, but its another thing to stand with him on his positions so I think she has to make things clear. The problem is, no one has asked her straight up her position on immigration. I told another poster here that I had no clue the difference between immigration and amnesty..I guess they are both different?
