Super's point is that we've been gradually snared under the yoke for 40-50 years of Great Society, New Deal, socialized government education slavery. We didn't just get here with Obama. He merely grabbed the reins.
You're right we should fight on. But don't be confused about how/when we got here.

Oh, I am not confused how we got here and how complicit both the GOP and Democrat Socialists have been in setting the table for Obama; but if we don’t fight on we become furniture in the new house of horrors of Obama’s America.
The idea is to get senate Dems to vote against amendments like the one which would have prohibited taxes on those earning less than 250K (Obama campaign promise). These make good political ad material against Dems at election time this year, and probably in 2012 also.
