Well, here’s a new low from the godless left… “Family Guy” marked the 5 year anniversary of Terri Shiavo’s court-ordered death by staging a children’s musical comedy about pulling the plug.
Maybe they’re preparing us for Obamacare?
Since when did mocking a family over the court-ordered death of their daughter become good humor?
NewsBusters reported:
Seth MacFarlane marked the five-year-anniversary of Terri Schiavo’s court-ordered death by staging a preschool musical about it in his crass FOX cartoon, “Family Guy.”
MacFarlane denied Schiavo human dignity in the March 21 episode by referring to her in lyrics sung by cartoon preschoolers as “the most expensive plant you’ll ever see” and a “vegetable,” and noted “her mashed potato brains.”
The child who played the role of Schiavo’s husband, Michael, ultimately concluded, “There’s only one solution, it’s in the Constitution, we’ve got to pull the plug.”

More than anything else I have ever seen, this demonstrates clearly, the mean spiritedness, vitriol and downright savagery of the left wing liberal.
Even Jessie Jackson felt for these people and supported them.
People who think like the scumbag responsible for this are outside the Human Race.

Sickening.
Making a cruel MURDER a joke.
Yes, humor can lessen the heinousness of a legal MURDER to kids and perhaps some adults that have no God fearing moral values or principles. They always want to get at the kids.

Five Years Later, Terri Schiavo Mocked on FOX Prime Time
As Her Family Prepares to Honor Terri's Life and Struggle Five Years After Her Death with a Country Concert in Indianapolis, FOX's The Family Guy Goes Ugly!
ST. PETERSBURG, Florida, March 22 /
Christian Newswire/ -- The Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation is expressing shock at the March 21, 2010 airing in prime time of Fox's The Family Guy, which featured satire about Terri Schiavo, the deceased Florida woman, who was starved to death in 2005 after a lengthy court battle.
The horrific sketch was titled "Terri Schiavo: The Musical."
In this sketch, Schiavo is mocked and the memory of the suffering she endured ridiculed - portrayed as someone on a number of mechanical life support systems. She is referred to as a vegetable. Both inferences are false regarding Terri's case! The sketch ends with characters calling for pulling the plug.
Terri's brother, Bobby Schindler stated: "My family was astonished at the cruelty and bigotry towards our beloved sister, and all disabled people that we witnessed in this show. My first thought was how this attempt at satire must have been enormously difficult and painful for my mother.
"After further thought, I realized that using my deceased sister as fodder for satire also validates what our family has been saying for many years. There is growing, deep-rooted prejudice against people with brain injuries and other cognitive disabilities. This sort of bare-faced bigotry is dehumanizing to those with disabilities and cruel to those who work tirelessly to ensure that people with disabilities are provided the proper care, protection and respect. People are not vegetables."
Terri Schiavo was not kept alive on mechanical life support. She made use of a feeding tube after some doctors determined it safer for her than swallowing food and fluids on her own.
"The depiction of Terri in The Family Guy episode on March 21 is not only inaccurate," states Schindler, "it seems to take the position that certain people are simply not worthy of receiving medical care because they are viewed as burdens on the health care system."
Schindler also believes it is not a coincidence that this terrible prime time skit took place 10 days prior to the five year anniversary of Terri's death (3/31/05), and just weeks before the foundation's first ever Terri's Life and Hope Concert featuring Randy Travis and Collin Raye, slated for April 11th in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Foundation is calling on all disability rights organizations and pro-life organizations to join us in admonishing the producers and writers of The Family Guy. It will also begin pursuing the sponsors and advertisers of The Family Guy, urging them to stop advertising in this program.
The Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation was established by the surviving family members of Terri Schiavo to protect the rights of people with disabilities. It has communicated and supported with more than 1,000 families since Terri's Death – families who have loved one's living with brain injuries.

Picking on the small — like the Schindler family — is the mark of bullies. Is this an age of bullies?

Like Tom Daschle said, you should just get used to getting old and dying. Universal health care systems treat chronic diseases totally different than we do. At least for now.
Smoking, obesity and STD’s get sent to the back of the line.

That poor woman starved and dehydrated to death at a slow and painful rate. She knew what was happening and is in the loving arms of God today. The cruelty exhibited 5 years ago is no different than what happened at Auswitz. God have mercy on these peoples souls. They’re gonna need it.

Im beyond being offended by Family Guy. This is the equivalent of Springtime for Hitler in The Producers it is self-consciously, intentionally, and conspicuously offensive. When the purpose of the joke is to offend, then to be offended is to fall prey.
Nothing to see here.

I saw it since I TIVOd the ep and was appalled.
I don’t care if a show is liberal, but that was WAY over the top and incredibly insensitive.
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

Yep, I saw a thread on this earlier. The left HATES Terri more than they have ever hated anyone.

I hope I never come face-to-face with that guy - I’d probably end up in jail because I’m not sure I could help going mid-evil on his A$$!

These “adult cartoons” are generally pretty disgusting. The only one I’ve ever watched was King of the Hill. The rest of them aren’t worth my time.

This is merely preparation for pulling the plug on Grandma or Grandpa or Cousin Jack who is “slow and useless” or little Johnny who is a Downs child, or big George who is now wheel-chair bound because of his accident - all useless to society and costing the government-run health system too much money.
Indoctrination. This is how it works.
Get those little minds early and it will be easier to push the communist agenda once the old fogies and the useless are out of the way.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle,
be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Power of God -
thrust into hell, Satan and all the other evil spirits,
who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.
Pray
