DURHAM, N.C. Uninsured Triangle residents said Monday that they eagerly await the overhaul of the nation's health care system. "It's just going to be like Christmas," said DeCarlo Flythe, who lost health coverage for his family when he was laid off almost three years ago. "It's going to be great. You know, no worries (about) the bills. We are going to go ahead and pay our co-pay and be alright."

Oh yeah. But who wants to hear that truth?
I’m sorry to hear that. It’s how it always ends, but it’s always difficult.
You know what? First, I am thankful to Almighty God we did not have any medical catastrophes, but at the same time, I must point out that we saved over $12,000 in insurance premiums over our medical and dental costs--in less than a year.
Cause for thought, because a few years of that would have made a nice little addidtion to what is left of the nest egg. In fact, we were looking forward to saving the difference as I start my own business.
Christmas?
No. More like "man-made disaster".
Government remains the problem, not the solution.
Its also going to be like Christmas when the credit cards come due, the kids realize the toy isn’t what it looked like on TV, Dad has another tie and mom received from cheap perfume.
Similar story here, except that the vet didn’t find out what is wrong with my cat, and an MRI will cost thousands.
I love the little guy, but...
Maybe pet owners should be agitating for socialized vet care next, imagining that it will cover everything under the sun, until they’re hit with the stark reality that bureaucrats in DC care far less for your or your pet’s health than you, and are far less likely to okay forking over the money for treatment.
“You just cant make this stuff up. Liberals really are STUPID!”
Come on now, get with the program. This is the new America. Hope and change for all!
Soon you’ll be better off not working at all. The best thing you can do right now is get fired from your job. Just hit up the various government agencies for your freebies and chill out at home. Unemployment benefits never run out now and soon you’ll get free comprehensive health insurance to go along with it.
If you have time to read a little between video games and watching television, you can figure out how to really game the system and perhaps collect enough free government cash to never do anything productive again.
She’s just been a little sluggish but she’s still happy.
Now if I had been more like government and not cared I would have had her put down right then and there to save money.
No. Kwanzaa.
... and what percentage co-pay will you be forking out, hmmm? Forget it. This guy either doesn't have 2 brain cells to rub together or he has no idea about how government programs work in the real world.
"Obama Money. He got it from his stash to hep us."
Father Christmas, give us some money
Don’t mess around with those silly toys.
We’ll beat you up if you don’t hand it over
We want your bread so don’t make us annoyed
Give all the toys to the little rich boys
You’re exactly right, but the public doesn’t seem to have a clue. They think without health insurance no one can get health care. The Republicans should have been hammering this home and I haven’t heard them mention it.
Been there and doing it now friend. My wife and I have spent the last 7 weeks without a single dime coming in. Praise be to God that there hasn’t been a whole lot going out.
Funny thing, we both feel ‘richer’ and happier without all that extra money.
Fingers crossed but....I have two interviews coming up
Certainly not someone who wants to make us their serfs.
Be patient. By the time you get it, you may need the food.
Arugula in every pot!
Managed care has driven costs up. The new DemoncRAT’s most-managed-of-care will drive prices out the roof.
Our family business is about to do the same thing on a slightly smaller scale. Hussein will own this unemployment. Of course i’m sure he intends it anyway.
